This is how I look at it:

If your coming to surrender with a self contained group, meaning couples or an even ratio and no intention on inviting strangers to your area, then a cabana is 100% the way to go because of the added space you have. If you group is a bunch of guys looking to get hot chicks, then you wont like the cabana because the foot traffic is much lower. A better suggestion for a group like that would be the tables near the DJ, which are just outside the main room, and have all the traffic of the main room. My buddy had his birthday table there on wed and I think the # is 31

yeaah my group is mainly a even ratio with couples in it..so most likely we wont be able to pull girls in our group hahah..
but it looks like my group is leaning towards XS more...you guys recommend a cabana at XS?

I prefer back wall or third tier at XS, I also enjoy the Dance floor patio area

Depends on what night, usually they are 3 btls (wall) and 2k - 3k (3rd tier) on the weekend, but can be had for less on sundays and mondays.

At XS I love the 2nd tier right above the dancefloor. Awesome view of the action and nobody is spilling into your area.

The way Surrender is designed so that all the cabanas have a good view of the center pool and all the traffic there. Its kind of like an arena luxury suite. XS on the other hand has a bunch of cabanas that are boxed up in a corner where nobody visits.

Not sure if you can count the flower bed areas outside of XS as proper seating, but there are no open seats.

either i am thinking of the area you speak of or XS must have changed things up since last summer. the round white benches on the left were all open seating when we were there.

Surrender has a little more room at the flower beds Just a little more..

I think Vanity is the only place where we can go general and expect a place to sit down with your drink.
