Positives:
Very nice rooms for the price
Huge bathrooms with jetted tubs
Beds are very comfortable
Balconies are very nice
Kitchen areas come in handy
Plenty of closet space / storage
Access to Signature-only pools as well as the MGM Grand Pool Complex (obv n/a during winter months)
Negatives:
Not on the strip - walk to MGM is easy w/ people movers but it puts you at the BACK of the MGM which is still a long walk to the front. Cabs are easy to come by though and you are close to the monorail (but that puts you behind all the casinos on the strip as well).
Neutral -
It's quiet - not a party atmosphere at all (unless you make one in your room!) This is good or bad, depending on what you want.
I payed $12 + tip for 4 or 5 bananas after looking all over the place, refusing to pay the $1 / banana price that I found at a liquor store, and settling on room service.
Other things to note: If you book directly with MGM, you pay more. Hit VBRO.com or Craigslist Vegas to try and find a better deal. Standard prices are in line with other nice places like Venetian / Palazzo, Aria, and Vdara, so see what you like best and go with that!

Yeah but they fixed it as soon as we called down! THey also charged us $2.50 to bring us ketchup :S
