I need to pick one or the other for new years. I got a 1 room special for both of these with my total rewards card. $150 a night average 3 nights on both for new years. I really want to stay at a Wynn/Aria/Venitian but with this kind of offer I can't refuse.

Seriously, everyone walking around all drunk and hungover...it fits. Either that or you yourself coming back plastered and out of it, you look at everyone and think you're on another planet, haha.

Come to think of it, it looks like the Vegas version of "The Walking Dead".

If you want to Party, definitely PH, and New Years is party central...so PH it should be!

Gotta be PH...great location, awesome shopping mall, great food choices (if you're in a rush, the Planet Dailies coffee shop has a surprisingly large menu), and it's just plain fun.

Could anyone elaborate on the +'s and -'s of each?

PH - younger crowd, Fairly newly renovated rooms, nice Vegas vibe, great restaurants (StripHouse is very good). Central strip location

Minuses - Ive heard Room Upgrades are hard to come by, and that housekeeping hasn't been keeping the rooms as clean as other comparable strip hotels. No Signature Nightclub (Prive gone)

Paris - more themed so if you dig Paris then you'll like it, its also well known as being a very gay-friendly hotel, great buffet. Great room upkeep. Central strip location

Minuses - rooms are a bit outdated, not too much in the way of restaurants, a bit older crowd, no signature nightclub (but plans for one are in the works)
