I dont think Eve is a total fail. Yes it is small, but so is blush and this leads to a more intimate setting. You could argue that they threw the biggest party this year in vegas, with Puffy hosting. I think that if your not looking to stand in line for ever, or you cant justify spending thousands on bottle service, Eve may be just what your looking for.

And you can always say "we partied at the new club in city center"
