It Costs me about $150. Stupid Ford Explorer. $60 To get there. Another $60 to fill up, and since there's not much need to drive out there, about $30 on the way back.

And you're probably in the upper range because you drive a suv. I've never paid less than $350 for a flight anywhere on the east coast to vegas...that's like 10 lap dances/trip that i miss out on because I wasn't smart enough to get a place in cali instead.

I honestly wouldn't mind flying. I truly truly hate that sunday 8 hour drive back. It kills me. But I guess extra money in my pocket isn't bad either. I waited too long to book a room, now all weekends are booked up. I f'd up.

haha keep us posted on how that jimmy rigging the website trick worked for ya Moe? The only loop hole I did was when they had the $50 rooms, I manage to get a July 4th weekend before they blocked it maybe like 20 minutes later. They had to honor it because there no stated rules when I confirmed

I have a funny feeling they're going to screw me when I get there. "Nope, sorry, this was for one night only. You're going to have to pay $300 for the other nights..." God only knows.

For AOD in May, the desk clerk had no idea about the Twitter deals (it wasn't a new development, I had booked 4 months prior). I'm kind of banking on the same thing happening in Oct. Hopefully I'll get another "Wow, that's cool. Have a good weekend..."

I also booked for what I'm figuring will be the May invasion (LOL) and printed out the page right before you book that says Thurs $20/Fri $20/Sat $20/Sun $20, with all the dates on it. Hopefully that will help if they try to yank it from me, but it'll probably be long forgotten about by then.
