And I don't want to hear this shit about him not having a supporting cast in Cleveland. He had Mo Williams (All-Star), Antwawn Jamison (Multiple time All-Star), Shaq (top 3 best centers EVER), not to mention Varejao (All NBA Defense). Don't forget the Cavs had the BEST regular season record in the NBA. Yet, when it came playoff time, Lebron quit.

Now he goes to Miami and takes a back seat to D. Wade?? Now if Miami loses it won't be his fault and he can hide behind Wade.

Ultimately, Lebron should NEVER be mentioned in the same breath as MJ, Kobe, Bird and Magic. All he cares about is money and his precious global brand (which by the way is total shit after his egomanical one-hour special on ESPN entitled "the Decision"). Lebron will end his career with at the MOST 2 titles, and he will not be the leading man for either one. Lebron cares more about money and seeing his face on billboards than he does about winning.
Didn't Lebron take less money to play in Miami?
He was never going to be as good as MJ, IMO.

Eh, I guess the article does try to paint him in a bad light, but I didn't buy it.

That's a low-key ass night in my eyes. He seemed like he was just chillin, like Vegas was nothing to him, just another day, no big deal. Which is kinda sad in my opinion, because im sure he would actually like to let loose but he can't...too many haters watching him like a hawk.

The money thing is BS because it is about a wash when you consider the lack of income tax in Florida, so no he didn't take much less money.

He is a puss in my opinion. When I play pickup, I want to crush my boys, not play grab ass with them. He lacks that killer instinct and had to team up with someone who had it. He should be the prince at this point.

The link to the article isn't coming up without errors, looks like they took down the original ESPN article. Someone was smart enough to google doc it here:

          https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=...ZDRmNWFi&hl=en

**update the original article works if you not behind the work fire wall So if you are at work and can't read it, use the google doc link

The sbnation commentary is pretty funny, though they also seem spellbound at the rose-covered girls at Tao, as if they were specially put there for LeBron.

I still have trouble understanding how a LeBron party happened at Lavo.

Tao and Lavo - both part of the Tao Group. So I'm sure they wanted to promote both locales with a party at one in Friday and a party at the other on Saturday.

The funniest part of that story is where they say he ditched the table at XS because the club was kinda empty.

The night after the party at Tao, he and his crew walk through the casino at the Wynn and Encore and he pretends to dribble a basketball as he walks past ringing slot machines and tourists who do double-takes. In a Nike T-shirt, jeans and sneakers, James’ pantomime seems unconscious. He stops every few feet to shoot a jump shot, his right hand extended above his head on the follow through. He weaves through a pack of a dozen friends and pretends to connect on a layup as he walks past a gift shop. He passes overhead casino signs and jumps up and slaps them, pretending to dunk. Columns covered with advertisements for lounge acts become stationary defenders, chumps to fake out before connecting on imaginary mid-range jump shots."
I wish I was at one of those slot machines. How random would that be? You are just sitting there transfixed by the machine, wondering whether the drink girl will show up before all of the credits have been lost, and Lebron runs by dribbling virtual basketballs.

Lebron was obviously paid to do these events. They all are.

Yep...says that right in the article:
This three-day party marathon in Vegas (which James is being paid six figures to host) is also Carter's idea.
Would've been a sight to see though...
