I would assume that a table in the main room on the dancefloor is the best place to get located. What is the general layout of the main room, tables etc? I assume there are some shitty locations in the main room? Where should we be looking if we want a great spot in the main room, next to the dancefloor, but won't be the premium $3k+ spots?

tombrokaw, i know we've spoken about this in the past, but don't remember if i ever asked you...when you use the tao wristbands, what line do you have to wait on with them?
guest list line. it's much shorter. the one time i used it they actually pulled me all the way to the cashier immediately so it was technically even faster than guest list. That's just the line i stood in originally. I suppose you can cut right through it to a clipboard guy.

Hey Guys, sorry to hi-jack the thread but we're trying to figure out where to go for a bachelor party on Aug 13th (Friday). This is what I got from Tao:

"For your party of 9 I could keep you at a $1350 minimum for the beach level. The main level would start at $1800 up to 3k+ for prime main room locations. The beach level however is not always open on Fridays and if that is the case and you book for that area that price will be honored for the main level.

The minimum is in bottle sales of your choice (It is not a table fee that includes bottles). Bottles start at $450 and there is an automatic 20% service charge and 8.1% sales tax added to all checks"

We want the beach area, so are looking at a $1350 minimum. Does the automatic 20% & 8.1% count towards the table minimum?

Can you order a case of beer on top of a couple bottles? We're thinking a bottle of goose, a bottle of crown & a case of beer for the guys that don't drink hard liquor. That should easily put us over the minimum right?

We were also thinking about Tryst (by the waterfall) or PURE on the terrace. I think we're going to rule out Tryst but it's a toss up between PURE & Tao. I guess whoever gives us the best price will get our business.

As for tipping the host, I know it's been asked to death around here, but for 9 guys is $250 - 300 good?

The minimum spend doesn't include the service charge/sales tax.

Dont get a host just book directly with the Club much easier and you dont have to tip out a host.

I dont think they serve caes of beer so you would be just ordering beers individually.

Goose is 475, not sure what crown is. A 6 pack opf red bulls for mixers is $42 and im not positive but i believe soda or cranbury juice , that kind of stuff is free. They give you a menu when you get there so just pick a few things till you get to the 1350 and your set. Then its plus the 20% and tax.

If you book through the club you are still booking through a host.. what ever host did the best the week before gets those tables so you should still tip. You are still being hosted. Also you can order cases of beer, not just bottles, we do it all the time

Tao is the best way for the quality service of table and bottle. There are best table and bottle service in LavishVegas. Tao restaurants is the great to explore your fun and entertainment.

A bottle min is just a price for the table (how much you need to spend) so you can either get bottles, beer or both depending on how much you need to spend. For intance when we go to Tao Beach with comp day beds we get the bed and a $300 credit. We buy a few pitchers, food and beers for the guys. Its whatever you want to do to spend that money.

Ended up going with Pure. I know what to expect there, got a terrace table (did not want inside) and we only have to get 2 bottles (minimum). We'll end up getting a case of beer too so it'll be a good night.

To be fair, I've always wanted to get a rooftop table at Pure. It just seems like it'd make for some sick moments.
