Mastering the Grease/Sandwich Handoff

The only greese sandwhich I've ever handed off for line skippage was my first night in Vegas back in 08'. It was a Thurs @ Tryst around 11:00. After doing the math that I my group was not getting in without greese I pulled out some cash, got a hosts attention, and paid $100 for 3 Guys. Just as I was handing over the sandwhich a guy standing next to me asked if he and his boy could jump in with us, I asked the host and he said yes... So it was 5 Guys for $100 and we still had to pay the cover... When inside I had the 2 guys who jumped in with us buy a round of drinks and shots.

As for Bottle Greese, the only time I offered a greese sandwhich for table location was on a Sat Night last July at XS. For an Inside Table the host asked for a $500 footlong sandwhich which I turned down and we ended up with a table outside...

I do have a question because the prices that Anonymous Host implied would make it the exact same price with an all guys vs. a mixed group...

Next Month I will have a mixed group 5 (attractive) girls/4guys and the plan is to pass a Greese Sandwich to a host and skip the line. Im figuring $100 plus cover or so would do the job. Anyone see this not being enough...?

Depends on the Venue, but even more on the doorman. I guarantee you there are peeps that paid different amounts and used the exact same doorman, at the same club, on the same night, with the same ratio.

I've only paid to get in at 1 venue, XS, on a Saturday night.($75pp, we had about 15 guys walked in at once passed a 2 hour long line)

Then again, I haven't been to Vegas as much as most of you...

I have had to grease a few palms throughout the years! Had to do it at Pure the first couple of times we would arrive and there were a few hundred if not a lot more people in line!!! So found the clipboard guy and asked how much for my group (5 guys) he said 200$, and bam we were in but had to pay cover still.
Another time at Pure same situation ran into a "bouncer" in the crowd outside named "Mars" told him the situation and offered him 100$ he said higher and I said 200$ he says follow me. To the clipboard guy n says give it to him!!! in we go again! So roughly 40-50$ per guy on a busy friday-saturday night and this was when Pure was still one of the "hot spots".
No more greasing now unless the night is not planned thanks to JC and the hosts contact info!!! Also a BIG THANKS to Dnix for the anonymous host posting about tipping hosts that is the info i have always wanted to know!
You just don't want to undertip or look like a jackass; however i cannot afford the crazy high tips for prime location tables so i am happy with a regular table as long as i get one, that is all that matters to me!!!!!!!!

Yea, $1125 for 15 guys. It was well worth it imo though. We had a blast there and I really think you haven't done Vegas until you've done XS on a Saturday night. Not to mention I was rockin my flask that night so drinks were freeeeeeee (oh, and we moved in on someones table like we always do :P , sup P-money!!!! OH...and I forgot Darryll had a bottle of patron in his suv right outside the club in the parking garage, so we hit that and refilled the flask a couple times, LOL...damn that night was good. )
