Just booked a room at PH June 27th - 29th and thought I'd pass along this deal I used in case anyone was interested: https://www.harrahs.com/MakeReservat...did=758&rd=AFF

Rate was about $15 cheaper than I could find on Priceline, Expedia, Hotels.com, AOL Travel, etc. Plus it comes with 2 free drinks, $10 off their buffet and some other random shit I probably won't use.

Anyway, I'm curious about the pool situation there as well, so I'd appreciate it if you reported back on what it was like. Basically, while the whole pool party scene seems cool and all, I think I'll pass this time around. Standing in line for 2 hours at 10am and paying $50 seems like a lot of effort. So, I'm just hoping the PH pools are decently nice with some reasonably attractive people around.

I'll also pass on waiting in line all day to go to the damn pool. Here's some pics of the daytime pool scene at PH http://www.lasvegasweekly.com/photos...ollywood-part/ . If you browse the site you can also see other weekends where it was less crowded. Still haven't a clue about what goes on Fri/Sat nights.

wierd - I dont recall seein the pleasure pool when we were there last aug, but we are going back this year so will check it out.

        has anybody been???

i was pretty dissapointed with the pool last year, but it has a great casino vibe and party atmosphere!

I believe vegas.com has some better offers than harrahs. I was looking for a friend who is planning to stay there or just book a hotel/flight package for best bang for buck.

Regarding there pool party, they are not affiliated with any major promoters or management group and the price is low that it probably attract a lower end crowd. Like the old adage saying, you get what you paid for.

That is true as of now, stay at any of harrah's own property and you can go to any harrah's property pools like PH, Ceasars, Flamingo, Paris, etc. Similar deal like the buffet pass.

But as always, look forward to the report.
