Well back for a quick TR from our weekend in Vegas.Checked into the venetian, they had my reservations screwed up and the guy at the front desk was an ahole. I didnt really care to be honest was just ready to get a room and take a shower. Didnt even attempt the 20 buck trick i wanted to give hime 20 punches...result 9th floor with a awesome view of 20 ton a/c units. We didnt mind though..hey its Vegas.. I went ahead and booked a table at RAIN friday night April 30th with Adam. We met him at the PALMS around 11 pm and he took us up to the GhostBar for a few drinks. GhostBar was pretty awesome with the view and the people. Later on we met him downstairs and he took us right into our table. Even though we werent right on the dance floor i think our table location was great for 2 guys. My friend from Greece was impressed. The waitress was very attentive and hot as well. Also very accomodating was our bouncer.Adam was very profesional and kept checking on us and txed me to make sure we were taken care of. DJ Z-Trip was pretty awesome and the crowd was feeling it. All of this for under 1k was a pretty good night imo. Saturday night May 1st we started at the V Bar.. didnt really like this place, the setup was kinda bland and lots of younger crowd. We just had a drink and left for LAVO. At Lavo we just waited around 10 mins and had no problem getting in. The club itself was very nice and i loved the atmosphere, however the DJ that night sucked big time. I just dont like when the DJ talks on every song (especially when he repeats "...awww shit" every time. We stayed there till about 1:30 and headed over to TAO. Again we had no problem getting in here either. There was a group of asians in front of us and properly after them the bouncer asked if we were two and opened up for us. $30 bucks per to get in and drinks were $13 a pop. I must admit that TAO was pretty awesome. The general atmosphere of the club is what vegas is all about imo. The crowd was a good mix and everyone was having a blast.

What i realized is what many have posted in here. When its only 2 guys a table is really not the way to go. Granted, we loved by passing the line and being treated "vip" but in TAO Saturday night after a hefty first tip to the bartender on our first drink order we had great attention and service and spent half what we spent friday night. More to come later.
