I remember going to a punjabi wedding, this old punjabi man said: "son come lets take a shot" hands me a glass of scotch and then downs the whole thing... i just kinda sat there looking at him and then tried downing the whole thing.... DID NOT go to well.

haha thats funny.. punjabis dont use shot glasses.. they just grab cups and call it a shot
