I've never spoken to a celeb but in vegas I've:
sat in an adjacent booth to floyd mayweather (pics somewhere on this site)
sat next to Todd Haley (chiefs coach) at cafe in thehotel.
was 4 feet away from the Mike "the situation" Sorrentino at vanity.
played poker with Jerry Yang (2007 wsop champion)
oh I took a pic with matt from rehab, I guess I did talk to him.
I've seen some other celebs when they were hosting at various clubs, but didn't get terribly close.

Reggie Wayne from Indy Colts lives in my neighborhood (in season). He is good about saying hi while I'm walking my dogs. Good looking and super nice. When Katrina hit he had several family members that lived in N.O. come and stay at his place.
We've sponsored fund raisers with Anthony A-Train Thomas (rookie w/ the Bears)...nothing good to say about him. Jeff George was at same F.R. pretty decent guy. Though since I've moved to Indy he is not much appreciated in these parts.
Many more but those are the ones I remember most.LAUGHTER WHEN A SMILE HAS AN ORGASM.

I was at Drais one night/morning. I was on the dance floor with this latina chick and we were getting down. I feel someone bump into me and then I feel my pant leg get wet. I just kinda stopped and I had this look on my face and I was pretty pissed off. I turned around it and was Mike Tyson and he had spilled wine on me. He apologized and offered to buy me a beer, so I took him up on it. And luckily it was white wine so it was no big deal. He was a nice guy. Talked a bit, shook hands and he went on his way (they had a back room blocked off for him). His hands were huge and I'm a pretty big guy myself so I was surprised.

Oh snap, I almost forgot my other story. One of the first times I ever went to vegas and wanted to go clubbing. I was a noob so i had no idea what to do. I was at Hard Rock waiting to get into Body english and there was a huge line. we were slowly making our way to the front and then some guy got into an arguement because he couldnt get in. he then turned to use and said "its no use trying to get in, they wont even let me in". It turns out it was Tony Gonzales from the Chiefs at the time. Another cool guy.

Not a big deal he lives 2 blocks away in the Ritzy part of the subdivision while I live in the middle class section. Sorry don't want it to sound like he is my next door neighbor. Because of my line of work, I've been lucky enough to run across quite a few guys (mostly pro basketball players) and spend some time with them.
Coolest I ever ran into was Antione Walker. I know one of his close friends really well and ran into them in Tryst. Spent most of the night with them and also spent time running across to Drew Gooden's (now a Clipper) table. Ended up meeting Gooden and another friend at Drai's later on and we shared a table with Mike Tyson for about 45 minutes. Great stuff.
My favorite celeb moment, though, was seeing Joakim Noah get turned away at Prive of all places. Another NBA guy, Damon Stoudemire, saw it all go down and he and his crew heckled the shit out of him for it. 100% awesome all the way around.

That's what I thought too. But they want the easily recognizable ones.Originally posted by tombrokaw View PostI'm not sure why a celebrity would ever get turned away?
Doesn't the club desire them? Nobody has any illusions that a club is a haven for egalitarianism so I don't even think there would be any protests about celebrities jumping the line.
One night at Body English with Kirk Hinrich of the Chicago Bulls, we watched Brody Jenner and some other dips walk right in. They didn't get off their asses for the NBA guy until they googled him on their phones and realized he'd just signed a 55 million dollar or so contract.
Also hit Glitter Gulch with two members of USA Basketball and an assistant college coach who has won a national championship within the last five years. Coach was speaking at a clinic and he went to his speaking engagement from the Gulch!

Had a table next to Mike Tyson at LAX two years ago. He has the thickest hands I've ever shaken in my life. I was also astounded at how fat he was. He didn't drink, smoke or anything else. He just hung out and waved at people, almost like a zoo animal, but he was nice enough to take some pics with my group.
We were at a table above Javon Walker at Bank the night before he was robbed and beaten on the Strip a couple of years ago.
Britney Spears walked right by our cabana one day at Bare, and I literally didn't even notice her until someone pointed her out. It was probably at her ugliest/fattest point.
Some friends of mine shared a hot tub with Paris Hilton at the Palms and said she was actually pretty cool.
Others I've seen include Paul Pierce, Dirk Nowitzki, Eddie Jones, and Ludacris.

I was there when dropped by Wet Republic.. his security guys were douches and made all the chicks hide their cameras. But they ended up pulling the hot ones out of the crowd at Wet Republic to "chill" with him back at his big cabana.Originally posted by dono201 View PostWe had the table next to Leborn James 2nd July 2009 at LAX
