Making my first trip to Vegas with a buddy of mine (His first trip too). We're staying at the Hard Rock (April 30-May 3).

We're going to the Palms on Friday, Wet Republic & Money May/SSM fight Saturday (Still not sure what club we're going to after the fight, suggestions appreciated), & Rehab and Vanity on Sunday.

Whats up Peoples? I just ran across this form googling Mayweather vs Mosely closed circuit tickets. I'm actually going to the fight and i'll be at the MGM from Apr 29-May 3rd. I had a few last minute people that wanted to jump on the bandwagon so i was looking to see if the closed circuit tickets was on sale yet. Im actually flying in solo and staying solo so if anybody trying to link up for drinks or fight-talk...Im down with it. I was out in vegas for the pacquio-hatton fight last
may and this is the best time to go if you ask me...the weather was nice. Also, I booked my room early so i got a good deal on it....but now the prices are high...the price that is for the celebrity spa on saturday $599.99...is more than what i paid for all for nights but of course that before the rates went up. Im under a promo code called mgm039..i get 2 free drinks, 2 free buffets, and 2 admissions in studion 54....You can' t beat that. So ya'll might want to call the mgm and see if they will let you add that promotion onto your reservations....Originally i had a promo with a free 25 minute spa(im a dude) but i booked it because the rates was cheap under that promo..but i kept calling and calling and found that "mgm039" and change it to that one. But remember, I did book my room
back in january as soon as the rumors started talking about a may 1 match up....but keep in touch because i'll be there april 29th early morning...and hopefully over at the hooters casino by lunch time eating on some wings and drinking a little alcohol....

hey whats up.....I saw that closed circuit at the Mandalay are on sale already(on their website)....but nothing i could find at MGM yet.

PLEASE post as soon as u hear anything about on sale date for the closed circuit at the MGM and ill do the same too. ive been looking everyday too. thanks!

You're going to Vegas and you have to convince him to go out? I'm hitting the town and fight with a few guys as well and it seems like 2 is too little for bottle service but some of the experts on here might set me straight on that. We are thinking about getting a table as well so some of us may meet up depending on scheduling.

i don't have to convince him to go out. Hes not use to spending a lot of $$$ to go out so that's where the convincing comes in to hit up a club.

I was just playing. I hear ya on that and I might have to do a little "convincing" with one of my boys on that too but peer pressure should work.

No doubt! I will....I went on the Mandalay Bay web and seen them up there too...Its not giving you the optioin to buy though (I would watch it at the mgm). I actually have a ticket for the fight. But i have friends that is looking to watch it on closed circuit so i keep checking for them.

Wassup Man....You might want to check out this site www.siennaentertainment.com for the nice parties for that weekend that we will be out there. My peoples are going this weekend and Jay Z is going to be at club Tao and i found that out on this site. I was able find them a Escort so they would skip the line for $50 per female which is not bad for Jay Z and plus he said he could meet them around 11 to escort them in. They wanted a "gaurantee" to get in and showing up at 11 to somewhere to see Jay Z....You may wait all night. I was the one doing the calling for them and i mentioned to the guy that i will be out there for the fight and he said they would be doing something at Studio 54. Of course...if its a big name will be depending how much the "Skip the line" would cost and those were females that got the $50...so it may cost us a little more. But for me to be able to chill...and not have to rush down and stand in line (and may never get in)...I'd rather do the front of the line Escort (not front of the line pass)...So if everything thing goes well with them this weekend at club Tao....I will consider doing the same. They got some good reviews on the site but once my peoples give me a review...that will decide what i'm going to do. Here are MY 2 cents (whether you want them or not ) on some of the stuff you guys are mentioning... Keep in mind I'm not a guy, so I haven't necessarily dealt with this personally, but this is what I've picked up from trips with guy friends, and 0ther threads on this site.

Two of my guy friends were in Vegas a few days ago, and they got bottle service just the two of them and it was totally worth it. With bottle service, you don't have to pay cover, and usually don't have much of a line to wait in. My friends met a group of cool girls, brought them back to the table to hang out, and had a blast. It won't be "cheap" though. $350-$450 for the cheapest bottle (depending where you go) + tip for the host you book it through + tax + tip for the waitress + tip for the security guy (if you want him to watch your crap while you dance/look for girls for you). This may end up being pretty costly for just two guys, but when you consider the alternative... $30 cover, possibly getting stuck in line, individual drinks about $15-$20 a pop...sometimes it turns out to be cheaper (and less of a hassle) for bottles.

Another idea is meeting up with other JC'ers and getting a table together. You can reserve the table for a small number of guys so you can get a lower bottle minimum, then have the other guys join you once they get in (find a group of chicks in line to help with that). Then you can split the cost between everyone. You may end up ordering more bottles, but you'll also have more people to split the bill with. This can be sketchy with people you just met, so I would suggest collecting $$ before hand.

If you hunt around on the site, there are a bunch of threads on the pros and cons (whatever they may be) of bottle service. Also there are a ton of posts about pricing and whatnot so you can get an idea of what you're getting yourself into.

Oh, and Studio 54 might be a major bust. It's heyday was about 10 years ago. It may be different with the fight going on at the MGM, but just be warned that some consider it, at best, a C level club now. Again, I'm sure you can find reviews on this site if you do some digging.

Wassup Man....You might want to check out this site www.siennaentertainment.com for the nice parties for that weekend that we will be out there. My peoples are going this weekend and Jay Z is going to be at club Tao and i found that out on this site. oh man...thank u....i gotta look into the diddy thing... i want this weekend especially fight night to go as smoothly as possible, its gonna be a lot of celebs and money out there gotta compete to get in tha damn club lol.

Yes, I just looked up there this morning and P diddy will be there so its going to be crazy. Siennaentertainment said it would cost me $85 (fellas) to get escorted in and $40 for the ladies for the escort. I also called eve night club and they said getting it from them would be $75 (no escort) for general admission and $150 for V.I.P line (no escort) but the $150 admission will get you into both floors....on that night they are going to have the restaurant part which is downstairs into a club and then P diddy will be actully be in Club Eve....so if you don't pay the $150 you won't have access to the next level where P Diddy is going to be. Now this is just my understanding so if anybody finds something different...let me know. I'm going to hold just to see if there are going to be any other fight party's....which i'm sure they and i'm pretty sure studion 54 will have something....but if its not a big name....i'll be at club EVE for shore....oh, My peoples just got back from vegas today and they said the line to club TAO where Jay Z was.....was rapped around the corner. They said they had no problems getting. The lady from sienna entertainment met them out front and they walked to the front of the line.....so which ever club i go too on May 1st i'll be doing the V.I.P entry with no waiting in a line.
