Bank just asked to do the Invasion closing party that Sunday. Everybody cool with that? Tao Beach is doing the opening party on Thursday and possibly Tao at night.

Well as of now I'm rolling Solo it seems....we'll see how this pans out. I don't like flakes and I'm not interested in someone trying to jump into my plans last minute after i've done all the footwork. I'd rather fly Solo!

That's why everyone that I invited I told that their morethan welcome to join me in my activities but if they decide to do other shit have fun! lol

Sometimes it can be fun to play cheap table games w/ good rules and cheap beer. But I agree that there's not much else to do there. Took a trip to the El Cortez downtown last trip just to play some blackjack- man that place is where dreams go to die...

so you don't recommend gambling there?

I think it's fun to make a gambling excursion to downtown casinos like the Golden Nugget, Four Queens, Binion's, etc. I'd avoid hanging out too long (if at all) at the El Cortez, though. That place was just too seedy and desperate for my tastes...

yeah, by 'there' i meant the el cortez, not downtown vegas in general

Downtown is more of like an old western style town type of party atmosphere, and thats the type of crowd it tends to attract. Cheap booze, cheap food, but sometimes very rowdy people. Not much clubbing or pool parties going on down there

I love going downtown...for the day, only though. Sunday brunch at GN, then craps there and the other casinos...the crowd can be unsavory which is why I usually leave by 6.

LMAO! No, that hasn't happened to me...but that's pretty funny. I was last dt in march 09, played craps for hours at golden nugget...I love playing craps there, definitely my favorite place to play...the crowd was great, giving me free chips-$25 and $50!! it was crazy- to play with b/c it was my bachelorette...I always have fun at GN...it's like old school vegas b/c it's still a nice casino, not run down like the others. I'm always up for it, but with the pool parties during the day, I don't usually get a chance to go in the summer
