LOST... The Final Season

I did the exact same. Watched first two seasons of LOST before the 3rd started... also watched first 3 seasons of The Wire before the 4th started..... 2nd favorite? it's my first. whats your first? there's nothing that tops the wire, man... the sopranos and the shield would be the next 2.

My favorite show of all time is Six Feet Under.

Had the best series finale of all time, but the entirety of show itself doesn't come close to The Wire, IMO. Not all seasons were good, either...especially season 3, God was that dreadful.

Yea, it might have dragged a bit during the seasons at times. But walking away from it, I really felt it was a complete show. The series finale only made me realize how much I actually loved the show in hindsight.

No way. Dexter is nowhere near the level of quality Six Feet Under was. Dexter is good, but that's all, a good show. Not overrated but not great. Sort of like The Shield, although I believe that show was overrated.

So I finally caught up and watched the light house episode. Jack got mad and smashed the glasses because Jacob can see his house. Why does Jack hate Jacob? Also he has a son? (WTF) .. a little late to introduce something so significant this into the plot dont you think??

I m pretty sure Flock and Flaire ( fake Locke and Claire) are going to attack the temple in the next episode. Gin's dumbass is going to lead them to all his friends. They will end up killing couple more off of Jacob's cave hitlist.

I think Jack's son only exists in this parallel universe. So the course of events without the island has led Jack to have a kid, what's different in his life in this universe.

Yeah I agree with you NyceGuy, but I would really like to figure out what the deal is with this whole showing them living two lives!! It is driving me crazy. I love Lost but they just have so much crazy shit going on at once it almost feels like it is too much.

I guess it will all work out ok if they find out a good way to end it pulling everything together and making sense of it all.

I think they will. They went back to the numbers which were first introduced in season 1, and were featured prominently in season 2.

I don't doubt that they'll answer a lot of the major questions.

I figured everything before the plane crash was the same, and only everything after the flight is different... but I guess not since Locke was still with Peggy Bundy...

Everything since 1977 has changed that we have yet to learn. The island is underwater, Locke has some kind of relationship with his father and is with Helen, Jack has a son, and Hurley has only good luck this time around.

Right cause before Julia died she said it worked and how it worked is something we yet have to find out. And pre crash I believe Locke and his woman friend had come to an end in this new life he is with her happy and getting married.

Also I am very curious to find out who Jack has a child with. If it is linked in any way??

Yea the whole parallel universe is driving me nuts. I should totally use that when I write my reviews on Yelp from now on. In the parallel universe this place would've gotten 5 stars.. but unfortunately we are in real time and the food sucks balls

I'm a big fan of Lost. I think the parallel universe exists because of an event we haven't seen yet; i.e. they will do something at the end of the series which causes it.

Also I just started buying the dvd's to rewatch the show from season1 on up, to figure it out. I got halfway through s1 and it occurred to me that the whole plot is actually very simple. And most of the questions and coincidences and path crossings started off as easter eggs which have now run amuck into a bazillion theories or whatever. So now I don't think about all that, I just enjoy it.
