Before Vegas

Hey guys i was wondering if you could help me out. We need to know which city in USA we can visit before we come out to Vegas? We will only be spending 4 nights in this city and want it to be pretty close to vegas so flight time is not to bad and we can get to vegas pretty quick.

We were thinking LA but many have said we will not enjoy it and it's not as good as it seems. We then thought about NY but it's to long a flight and i don't think 4 days will be long enough there. San Diego has got some good reviews and is recommended by a lot of people.

Where do you guys think we should go...keep in mind its 3 guys looking to party and have an awesome time at clubs??

I didn't realize it was that long, Boston-Vegas usually takes me 6 or so I was trying to do the math in my head. Always a bad idea.

meh, maybe I only feel this way cuz I lived there for a few years but NYC is pretty overrated imo...if you're set on going I certainly hope it's not til late spring or summer...

Where are you from? I don't think I even have any US cities in my top 5.

Im from Australia, it's ok here nothing special. But USA just seems ahead of everything else. I've never been to europe or the greek islands though. I have heard there are some crazy places there.

I imagine that it a 4 hour flight Miami-Vegas though, so that may be too long for what you're looking for.

I agree, surprised no one mentioned New Orleans, definitely a great spot for partying late into the night as there are practically no liquor laws. Also, no one has mentioned Miami, which has a lot of insane clubs, nice hotels, and great beaches. I imagine that it a 4 hour flight Miami-Vegas though, so that may be too long for what you're looking for. You really can't go wrong with NYC and Vegas though.

Yeah miami would be crazy..i'm just looking forward to vegas more than anything. How do nightclubs go during the week in NYC?

I'm not from US but I'm surprised no one's mentioned New Orleans? If you want a good time, French quarter is definitely a place to be. Maybe not so much the club scene, but the chilling part is awesome. You can do some touristy shit as well, go to the swamps and stuff.

NO got an awesome feel about it and I think it's pretty much in shape now after Katrina, at least the French quarter where you want to stay (I was there before Katrina, mind you). Not so sure bout the flight time, I'm guessing 2-3 hrs to Vegas. Maybe its too hot in August though.

Yeah my mate was keen to go. I wanted to stay around the vegas area, like LA and SD wasn't to keen on NY but might as well try it. Only 4 days i know it wont compare which is why we are saving Vegas for the last part of our trip. If it were up to me i would stay in vegas for 2 weeks lol.

We will be there, last week of July, so not sure what the weather is like then.....
