Safe from maybe TOO much fun?!?! JK. I love to travel alone but people always warn me to 'be safe' so I thought I'd throw that in there. Just looking for recommendations for something that might be more fun when alone.

all depends are what you want to do, regarding nightlife I would probably say skip the clubs but the the nice lounges which have great views like mix, voodoo, ghostbar, Why would'nt your sis want to join you? the fun hotel bars would be heart bar and planet hollywood, circle bar at mgm, center bar at hrh.....I have stayed at TI before, you could always drop by christian audgier and make your way to the outdoor deck, watch the show, catch a buzz, you will meet plenty of people from all over the world.

I began my one month countdown to my third trip to Vegas!!! My first two trips was with a bf and this trip is with my sister and her gf so it will be different trip. I'm figuring they'll want to do their own thing at night (since my sister has work obligations during the day) so I'm looking forward to a little solo exploring. Any ideas for fun (safe) places to go at night solo?

You really will. I've also learned that negotiating prices for any kind of service in the hotel lobby is a great idea.

Mix isn't that bad either. The view is stunning, not sure if I'd stay there all night tho.

Mix definately has the million dollar view of the strip!!! I would spend an evening there with a few couples buy bottle service and just take our time enjoying the view, drink and coversation, and maybe a litle dancing. As for it being a big party place i have never been there when it is super busy maybe 100-150 people max. Ghostbar on the other hand always seems to be much busier and sometimes even quite full, much more of a party atmosphere!!!
