    Vegas Movies

Elvis's Viva Las Vegas is on the telly right now It's sooo cheesy, very funny as it's mostly an advert- "come to Vegas"

It's not really fulfilling my need for a vegas fix, so what other movies are there? Here's the few I can think of/have seen recently:

    The Hangover
    Oceans 11
    21
    What happens in Vegas
Fear and loathing (not really a happy vegas flick though!)

I'm sure there's plenty more worth seeing, please let me know. I'm contemplating sobriety for January, so could do with some good movie suggestions for all the quiet nights in I'm anticipating.

I know it's not a movie, but I love the Las Vegas episode on Entourage. Season 3, ep 9 I think

He was great in Raging Bull and Once Upon a Time in America... Laughably, he was also "Mr. Big" in the Moonwalker video/movie.

I agree with Swingers... I believe it coined the "Vegas, baby! Vegas" phrase. Great movie.

And I always have to watch Casino if I'm flipping channels and it's on. Love how in one scene, DeNiro is behind his desk in a sky blue suit, then gets up and turns out he is not yet wearing his pants.

You get a lot more detail on how they actually pulled it off and what the consequences were.
I read the book first and enjoyed it. So I found the book disappointing.. I guess that's usually how it is though..

sorry, bv, I did read your post, but that didn't register for some reason.

Yeah, did you see the documentary about it? It was cool hearing about it from the guys who actually did it.
