Who is this guy (where do he host?) and what's his beef?

Who was first?

His name is Darryll and he used to post on this site as an independent host. He hosted at Prive and when they were shut down for their violations he was independent for a little bit. Once Prive opened back up he got his old job back and now hes a host there. He got banned from posting here because he wasnt following the rules if your a host on this site.

He got the boot because he was affiliated with PPI, a troublesome 3rd party host who's owner was banned previously. Because Darryl wasn't up front about it, he got the boot.

He did hook it up big time though for a few of the JCers back in August (he's mentioned in a few TRs from that time), so it's not like he's the devil lol.

Which is why i didnt understand the shot at JC even more. I dunno. Vegas Politics.

That cracked me up!

To give back story on Vegas Election: You won by passing out buttons in the club and getting people to go vote for you on the machine upstairs. Had nothing to do with anything else other than who put the most effort into it at the club. And, while I congratulate Daryll's second place victory, first place was Xania Woodman and Deanna Rilling, whom I supported, so I'm not sure why I'd feel like a "fool."

Although, 20 minutes before he posted that the General Manager of Prive suggested him as a host contact for the club since Jeff Kovatch resigned (PS: Jeff Kovatch resigned). As he was introducing him to me, since we hadn't yet met, Daryll proceeds to tell me "I don't know what Jack Colton's fucking problem is, I was on his site for 6 months." Not listening to an introduction and inserting foot in mouth may however be a great way to feel foolish, haha.

On that note, this brings up an issue Dnix and I were discussing. Prive doesn't really have any senior, lead, or established hosts right now other than Daryll (the gaming commission thing shook up their staff), but due to his history on the forums....we aren't sure we feel comfortable listing him even though he may be the only host they have that might reliably be there in a few months when people are actually coming in for their tables.

Do we 1) not list anyone right now. 2) List the general office number. 3) Chance it with a newbie host. or 4) List Daryll in spite of his history in getting banned from the forums for being related to Platinum Passports?

well we appreciate the other side of the story. I vote for either A. Not list anyone right now, since most of us arent huge fans of Prive to begin with or B. We talk to the GM and get one of our own people to host at Prive, theres got to be a competent person in that field that is looking for a job in the lovely economy that will appreciate the referrals.

If he hadnt made the stab at you, Id prefer Darryll. If he could just stick to selling tables for Prive, and completely, and honestly represent Prive and only Prive, I dont think there would be a problem.

He is absolutely 100% a direct host now, and that dissolves a lot of issues. His relationship with PPI wouldnt have been an issue if at the time it came up, he had been working directly for a club.

The biggest question is, can HE drop it, and move forward? I have my doubts.

has anyone had a direct conversation with him about this? If you feel that way then maybe we should just have a blunt direct conversation with him and see how it turns out.

Is Logan no longer there?

Been there on a Monday a few times and loved it. Logan has been one of the most sincere hosts I've dealt with. One of the few who actually thanks you for the tip you give him and sticks around by the table to make sure everything is ok.

any "conversations" should be directly between Colton and Darryll. That way if any problems arise, there wont be any he said she said bs.

If hes the direct host, then I don't see a problem with listing him. It is what it is.. when someone replaces him, then list him as well.

I used Logan from JC for Prive, but I have no idea if there is history or what not there, but he worked very well. He got us right in, but we were two girls with no tables and he was very lovely.
