Drunken Debauchery (Friday, October 30)

I vaguely remember telling Sunfire and his gf that I am waking up at 6:30 in the morning to get the most out of Vegas. They emphatically tell me NOT to call them... So after passing out on Thursday night I really had no intention of getting up @ 6:30am. I was just being a douche. But as it turns out one of my coworkers texts me @ 9:30 eastern time to ask me a question about something at work. I roll out of bed and I'm feeling it bad. My throat is as dry as the desert and I'm all stuffed up. The arid climate def got me. I stumbled over to my phone, type a half assed answer back, bitching about him bothering me in Vegas at 6:30 in the morning, walk like a drunken sailor to the bathroom and guzzle as much water I possibly can. I then proceed back to bed.....10:30 am rolls around and I'm up again. This time feeling much better, but still feeling it. I lay in bed for a few wake the gf up.. who claims she is feeling fine... I decide its best to shower and get ready. I didn't want to waste anytime in the room. I get all freshened up and ready to go and I was near 100%. I come out and the gf says she is feeling hard now. It takes some convincing but I sway her to get ready and explore the town. We're out of the room by 11:15. We walk around the flamingo gardens, which are nice snapping some picture.

The pool looks awesome, but dead as it was still chilly from the night before. I discover they have slides that go from pool to pool and def looked like a fun thing to partake in while your drunk in the summer just chillen...We decide that we need some lunch to help soak up our hangovers. We head towards Cesear's and snap a few pictures.
We then text sunfire to see if he is up and wants to meet up. He says they are just getting up and planning on grabbing some lunch over at Mesa at cesears. I said great we're right out front and we'll meet you down in front. The gf and I head inside to wait for Sunfire. We had previously signed up for the players club @ flamingo which is good for all HET properties, and got 10 bucks to use. So we decided that we would let it go while we waited. Nothing too exciting, I think I won 10 bucks and the gf lost hers. Soon enough Sunfire and his gf head down and we proceed to go into Mesa. I had no idea what to expect but Sunfire gf really wanted to try it as it was one of Bobby Flay's restaurant. I thought it EXCELLENT. I had a cajun burger and it came with fries. Both were AWESOME. The gf had a different type of burger and she seemed to enjoy hers as well. I think Sunfire's gf had gotten some taco things, (I'll let him elaborate more on this in his TR) and Sunfire had gotten something that game with an appetizer, entree, and desert. I forget his what his appetizer was, but it looked good. For his entree he had a buffalo burger, and for his dessert he was kind enough to share it with his gf, my gf and myself. The gf snapped a picture of:

It was awesome! We were all stuffed and decided it would be best to walk it off. We wondered through CP and took a picture with Cleopatra (I think) and some Trojans. We walked through the Forum shops and seriously got lost. We caught the End of Atlantis animatronics show. and hit f.a.o. schwartz up. Sunfire then proceeds to hope on this miniature rocking chair...completely sober...and my gf quickly takes a picture... It's HILARIOUS, but we'll just keep that one between ourselves....We FINALLY got out of CP it honestly took us an hour we walked out of some back door entrance by the forum shops and ended up by the parking garage, and eventually onto the vallet.. We then wandered north on the strip doing all the touristy things. We hit Mirage first. I decided it was about time to start to get my drink on. We stopped at right at the entrance of the Mirage with the outside seating. I cannot remember the name of it and got a frozen Margareta. Wandered around and before we took the tram over to T.I. I decided to chug it so I could get a refill. Bad idea! I had the worst brain freeze ever, but nonetheless I got my refill and I was on my way. Sunfire discovered for an extra buck u got an extra shot and it def wasn't one shot it was like double the alcohol.. Well worth it... Anyways we head over to T.I. via the tram.. Walk through T.I. and just as we were leaving we say a huge crowd gathering at the entrance. We get close and its Don King Promoting a fight with two fighters. It was awesome. Took a picture or two of the not the "king" you would think you would see in Vegas.. and we were on our way.


We then continue walking north and decide to go all the way up to Encore. Walk in there and WOW.. what a place. It was amazing.. Then proceeded through the Wynn..over to Palazzo, and into the Venetian. We just took in each hotel and enjoyed exploration. The grand canal at the Venetian really amazed me from an engineering standpoint. Just the fact that they had the whole canal on the second floor and not the first and it was supported by something was astounding to me. But enough on that. By this point our feet were hurting and we were getting worn out. We circle on through on through Harrah's. I had a dream before I went that I won $5200 at harrah's on a slot machine, but didn't have the fibe to try it out that day. I vowed to come back, but never did.. Maybe next time. We wandered through the casino and I really liked it in there. It was real upbeat and bright. Head out of Harrah's and wandered past the Carnival Court and it seemed like a great party going on there. But we were tired and needed to rest up. I picked up a 12 pack of beer and wander back down the hotel. We say bye to sunfire as he and his gf were heading to the bellagio buffet. The gf and I head up to the room to decide on what to grab for dinner. We were tired and just decided on room service. We order a pepperoni and xtra cheese pie, and some potato skins. Total was about 30 bucks after tip.. not bad for room service/vegas prices. The food was average but satisfying. We then just rested up and rocked out to the Vegas Playlist.

Fast forward 5 or 6 beers and I'm excited, fully showered, and ready to go. Head down the casino while the gf is still getting ready. Shoot some dice and play some roulette. I swore off blackjack after my beat down at Pho. Came back exactly even and a little late as the gf was waiting. We proceed to meet up outside the fountains show at the bellagio with sunfire and cab it over to the palms. We get out and hit up the stuff store right away. There was a slight wait to get our bracelets, but soon enough we were off. First thing is first hit up ghostbar and get a look at the view. There was already a line to get in, but we just flashed our bracelets and we went right in. Got our comped entry slip and up we went.. All I can say is WOW! the place was awesome. Sunfire treated us all to my first, but certainly not last (Sat night got bad) Adios MF. We head outside and sit in one of the side booth areas. My gf has like an actual camera and her small digital camera was broke so there is a lack of club picture. I'm hoping sunfire can get his pics up so you can all see..(more on that later).. I took a couple of picture with my phone sent them to me friends back home who decided not to come to make them jealous. Stood on the glass floor and then headed over to Playboy and Moon.

We proceed over to the playboy lines, its full not crazy long, but there was a line. We flash our bracelets and boom were in. We got sent into the line to pay cover at the window and sunfire yells over to one of the bouncers. Yo we got bracelets he immediately comes over and lifts the rope mid line and up we went. Bracelets rock! Up At playboy I bought Sunfire and his gf a couple of gooses and cranberry to make up for the Adios's and I got a couple of captain n cokes for the gf and myself. We walked around for a little bit, but it was super crowded and decided to hit Moon. We got to moon right when it was opening so we got a prime spot on the second balcony. I think this view was better than Ghostbar. Snapped a picture with camera phone, and sunfire got some with his gf good camera. Hang out for a bit and head on down to rain for hosted bar.

The line outside of rain was INSANE, and I was def feeling it already and I knew it would be a great night. We went up to the bouncer and flashed the bracelets, and he sent us into a small like of 4 or 5 other people with bracelets. We wait maybe 30 seconds and the ropes lift and the bouncer announces all wristbands and we were instantly in. Rain was already packed, and we head straight to the hosted bar on the top floor right behind the DJ booth. The bar is in the skybox area with a couple of tables in front of it. We order a couple of drinks and I hook one of the bartender's Patrick up with a nice tip. He then mixes up extra strong drinks the rest of the night and service was QUICK. Take care of your bartenders they appreciate it and will show you their appreciation. The skybox area is insane you have a panoramic view of the entire place. We tried to sit at one of the empty tables but the bouncer kicked us out. He was kind of a douche about it, but later let the girls sit there. But as soon as I tried to sit down he would be over ASAP and make me get up. Not that big of a deal as long as the ladies can sit. We met some crazy girl up there named Johnny who was GONE and she was a lot of fun.

Eventually we grow tired of the cranberries and champagne and ask our bartender to make us up something.

He gives us a "patrick" and it was delicious. It was some kinda pineapple mix thing. We decide to head down to the dance floor and dance the night away. At some point the gf takes her shoes off cuz her feet are killing from her boots.. and proceeds to go clubbing in her socks. At this point its all becomes a blur and at some point she lost her socks. We grab one final drink from the bar and head back down to kill the night. The gf can't finish her drink and tries to give it to a gay guy. He thinks she is trying to ruphie him, and won't take it until she drinks some. So she does and he tries the "patrick" and loves it. He keeps coming back around and talking to us and its a good time. At some point we bounce. Sunfire is taking the alcohol HARD and needs to hit the restroom up before hitting the cab. He is gone FOREVER, his gf asks me to go find him and I go on a search. Check the nearest bathrooms and nothing can't find him. Apparently he wandered back and they are trying to call me so we can leave. I'm either too drunk to feel my phone vibrate, or just can't hear it...I spend about 15 minutes looking for sunfire before I go back and he is there, and hurting... I had no idea where he went. but it was all good we were together and we head over to the taxi line and its crazy long. We wait and wait and sunfire's gf notices the bellhops aren't filling all the cabs and letting a bunch of cabs go empty. She ducks outta line and goes up to a cab and asks if we get in. The cabbie says yes and we start to go in. The bellhop see us doing this and yells at us and we get thrown back in line. A few minutes later we hop in a cap. Its my gf, sunfire, and his gf in the back and I'm upfront in the front. The cabbie is driving and I'm trying to follow the road lines and everything is spinning. Apparently the seatbelt alarm has being going of for like 10 minutes and I didn't no it. My girlfriend had to tap me on the shoulder and yell @ me to point my seatbelt on. We make it to flamingo and I look back to say bye to sunfire and his gf and he is OUT.... we say bye to the his gf and thank her for the cab ride over to flamingo before going back they head back to CP. I have no idea how he made it back to the room. But he is the man and took full advantage of Friday. But thats ok I was worse on Saturday.....

In the end it was an awesome night and one I won't forget for a long time. I'll let sunfire tell you about incident with the camera if he chooses.
