haha I actually got mind pulled yesterday and I can write a mini TR about it:Originally posted by KC2Vegas View Postreally? how about wisdom teeth ?
Most of the time is waiting for your shots to start numbing. The dr starts tapping on it and hes like hows that feel? You are like how does what feel? Then he puts a blade in your mouth, cuts your gums to make room for the drill and scalpel. When the drill gets to work you feel rattling up your skull with this funky ash smell (grinded teeth) and your mouth gets all wet, but you try not to think its really blood gushing. The drilling is to crack the teeth so it can be easily extracted in pieces. Then he jams the scalpel up in there and snaps the mofo out of your mouth. The snap sound I can only describe as cracking a walnut in your mouth.
The whole process didn't take more then 10 minutes, and then another 10 to sew up your gums which is now a big hole. I went with the no sleeping pill and complete experience option as you can tell. I should be back lifting at the gym by tomorrow, but yesterday I told my gf that its my turn to PMS for once.Last edited by royale; 10-17-2009, 08:21 AM.

that is so wrong. did you have all 4 out at once? i had mine out about 2 years ago and it was a nightmare. there wasn't a lot of blood afterward which was nice, but the pain for the next 4 days was excruciating. i thought i had a dry socket, but when i went back for my recheck i found out that when the surgeon removed one of the teeth he had to cut into a blood vessel and so to stop the bleeding he had to sew a huge piece of gauze into my jaw. that's what all the pain was from.Originally posted by royale View Posthaha I actually got mind pulled yesterday and I can write a mini TR about it:

I had one of mine taken out back in march by the dentist (not the oral surgeon the same visit as a root canal.) That was not very fun at all. I drove home myself... went straight to a CVS to fill my pain med prescription. Usually the novacaine or whatever keeps me somewhat pain free for a couple hours. Not this time, Iwas in major pain after like 30 min and I was stuck at CVS for like over 3 hours because the dentist wrote the wrong date on my narcotic prescription.... I was popping OTC advil like it was candy.Originally posted by Addicted2SinCity View Postthat is so wrong. did you have all 4 out at once? i had mine out about 2 years ago and it was a nightmare. there wasn't a lot of blood afterward which was nice, but the pain for the next 4 days was excruciating. i thought i had a dry socket, but when i went back for my recheck i found out that when the surgeon removed one of the teeth he had to cut into a blood vessel and so to stop the bleeding he had to sew a huge piece of gauze into my jaw. that's what all the pain was from.

wow! now that sounds like a complication. In my case it wasn't impacted as of now, but it was going to be. So it was pretty much a clean tooth out on its own. I had one done about 10 years ago on my bottom right, and this was my top right. I still have both of my lefts which don't bother me at all.Originally posted by Addicted2SinCity View Postthat is so wrong. did you have all 4 out at once? i had mine out about 2 years ago and it was a nightmare. there wasn't a lot of blood afterward which was nice, but the pain for the next 4 days was excruciating. i thought i had a dry socket, but when i went back for my recheck i found out that when the surgeon removed one of the teeth he had to cut into a blood vessel and so to stop the bleeding he had to sew a huge piece of gauze into my jaw. that's what all the pain was from.
Yikes.. I can't imagine having something sewed inside my gums permanently... is that on accident? or by design?
PS. Mine didn't require oral surgery. It was all done at the dentist's office. He is a certified oral surgeon though and does implants as well.

Up until this past week that was true!! ha. No i actually was having problems with my internet, this is the first time in over 2 weeks I am able to get on it. Sorry for taking so long, here is my final half of my TR.Originally posted by KC2Vegas View PostEasy fellas she's a broncos fan she too busy celebrating every week.
DAY 2
It started out with me waking up fairly early 1030 (for me anyways) and got ready for the day. I met up with my aunt and uncle and we went downstairs to find somewhere to eat. We ended up just eating at the café the hotel had there.
After relaxing in the hotel for awhile waiting for my friend to get ready, we headed across the street to the forum shops. We spent more time than planned there, but we got a lot of shopping done, and hit up some incredible stores that we don’t have here in Denver. We also ate lunch over there during the day, ate my favorite food in the world, pizza! We headed back to our room about 530 to get ready for the big night out.
In researching where I wanted to spend Saturday night I pretty easily picked the Palms. We headed over and went straight to dinner. Being from Albuquerque, I’ve always known that the Palms has a Gardunos!! That’s where I decided I wanted to have my birthday dinner. My uncle has a cousin or someone who lives in Vegas and he invited them to dinner with us. While we were eating the cousins had to have knocked over about 4 or 5 drinks. Every time the server got one cleaned up they would knock over another one less than a minute later, it was hysterical. After dinner we decided to gamble for awhile, while waiting to meet our host over at Moon. I had never played Roulette before, so that’s where we started out. I was having a great time drinking and playing (didn’t win any money, but didn’t lose any either). While we were sitting at the table a group of guys walks by and started shouting at me!! They were yelling happy 21st birthday to me and have great night! I was super confused at first, and they must have realized that, then they explained they saw me at PURE the night before??? I was there and I’m sure I met people, but I have no clue.
At this point it was 11pm, and it was time to go meet our host over at Moon. We walked the short distance over to the elevators, got our stamps and wristbands and were taken up an elevator that seemed to be off limits to the general public, but who knows? I was already super drunk at this point. We got upstairs and walked over to our table. Really nice club!! I most definitely liked the view. This is where is starts to get a little fuzzy. Met some other people that we were hanging out with at PURE the night before, and decided to go down to check out Playboy. All I remember is the bathroom and how nice it was. The rest of the night flew by and when the place closed we went downstairs to the bar and drank more. Met a couple of really cool people, and decided to head back to the hotel. We get there about 630 or so, and we were starving. We went next door to OSheas and ate at some café again? I forget the name but it was pretty good. After breakfast we went back to our hotel and passed out about 8. Woke up, with the hangover from hell and scooted on over to the airport for the flight home to Denver!!!
