You should check the room listing like the day before u leave to see whats still available. Suites may be sold out, for halloween weekend so you may have no chance at an upgrade. But you'll be able to specifically see whats available and ask for that maybe....

I wasn't crazy about PH. I don't think it was 4 star like they are listed as. More like 3.5... slightly better than Stratosphere's rooms

But it could be that we got shafted. The girl that was checking us in had a chip on her shoulder.

So after doing some research, I have narrowed my choices for my hotel down to 3. They are Planet hollywood, Caesars, and Treasure Island. out of these 3 which would people prefer?

I like PH cause of the location. Plus I like the mall in there. There's a 24 hour restaurant (Planet Dailies) that isn't bad as well. and I think the buffet is decent.
the last time we stayed there, the toilet didn't flush properly, and even after they "fixed" it, it was still a super weak flush, and it took hours before they got anyone to go take a look at it.
But it was cheap.. I think it was $60/night, but that included a free bottle of booze every night. plus casino credits, but the lineup was so long to redeem the credits, so we didn't even bother.

My second choice would be Caesars because of the location.

i find the problem with the PH is that it still looks like the old Aladdin inside. The hallways don't, but as soon as you walk in your room.. and you are in Aladdin. The dark carbinets don't hide the fact that the mirrors, the doors, handles, etc are all still middle eastern theme, and they haven't bothered upgrading anything at all.

Personally I like Caesars, The palace towers are awesome.
