I was there the week of Christmas and it was nice. Cold and rained but I enjoyed it.

It snowed on us last year,The MGM lights with snow floating down was mesmerizing. It was pretty awesome. Except getting caught in the rain as we were trying to get to the mall from Treasure Island. We were soaked. Funny in retrospect, but at the time we were livid.

actually.....the dates arent set in stone, but 12/13-12/16 is whats being discussed. not so sure about the taco part, though.

Yeah, the snow was great last year! Thankfully didn't hamper my outbound flight to Philly as it shut down the Airport. But it was great walking down from the Venetian to the MGM while it snowed (was only wearing khakis and a button down shirt - people were looking at me like I was crazy as I slowly walked down LV Blvd... Well, maybe I was? Am?)

We're staying in a timeshare, but it's absolutely free. All we have to pay for is our cab rides back.

We all need to hit up Tao (so maybe I can have a good time there for once? I've always had such disappointing experiences there.) or Tryst. Or wherever. As long as we're drunk and in Vegas - it's gonna be a good night.

I usually go on/around xmas time with the 'rents. It's definately a lot slower, but still able to have a good time. Stayed at the palms last Christmas and had fun over at ghostbar/playboy. Will probably fit another trip around that time this year again, although this NYE thing might alter that.

I saw a pic but it was taken down within 24 hours of seeing a few pics. Wish I had dates of when the clubs, shows, and the restaurants open within the City Center.

Of course we could do the wristbands on that Saturday at the Palms if any wanted to that instead. I only have one other friend going this trip so don't have enough folks for a table anywhere.

Just got $35/night rooms at MGM booked for the 14th-16th with a bonus $50.00 dinning credit, two free drinks at all four bars in the hotel, free spa service and $50.00 in gambling credit.

Not bad, considering I complained my ass off about my last visit. 17th-19th staying at comped Planet Hollywood rooms.

My anticipation grows further!!!

Splitting your hotels in December? Have you done that before? I was considering splitting my hotel for next week's trip between the Palms and the Mirage... but isn't a hassle?
