A handshake is something to be judged between a man and another man and I don't think it's appropriate for women to be passing judgement on a simple gesture of courtesy.

Why do you say it is ok for a man to judge another mans handshake but then ask for a girls opinion on the subject? If a guy is offering a handshake as a "thank you for this dance/conversation friendly gesture" I don't judge his handshake. I think it's sweet and very nice.

I think a guy should have a firm handshake.. If I got a limp fish handshake, I'd be somewhat turned off. biggest turnoff is a wet limp handshake..
Some guy shook my hand on Saturday night, I thought he was attractive, but his palms were super clammy.. I kinda don't want those hands on my body..

I would have made it a whole minute into that conversation before I walked away. You don't like my handshake? Fine. I don't want to hear about it. If I decided to tell every girl I met everything I didn't like about her or why I wouldn't hook up with her I would never have time for anything else in my life. That, and it's just rude.

A girl that will take 25 minutes to tell you all about it is definitely problems to begin with as well, so be glad she didn't "look past" your handshake and try to get with you. If that's really a deal breaker and she has the nerve to tell you about it in that manner, you'd probably end up "looking past" the nice STD you contracted from her in the long run.
