I would so buy the guy a drink for that line. I appreciate good/corney pick up lines. As long as he wasn't creepy about it.Originally posted by Drew View PostThat might be the case too.
LOL... I wonder if any asian guy has used that line on a white girl before...

Waaaaaaaaah . Everyone stfu. Now stop j/k. Money does talk and I wouldn't of believed this story until I saw the gift shop next to Tao. There are these 2 manicans in the window with over compensated boxy heads and slanted eyes. I'm serious. One of manicans was even wearing a shirt that said "rye you no call" no joke. But you also go inside and there's buddah statues everywhere where they really shouldn't be. But money does talk and who really knows if the people who called pulled out of line because they greased a security gaurd it happens hundreds of times every night. It could of been done discretely and the bouncers after getting greased come back for them 5 minutes later. You never know.

Wow thats insane. I had heard that they kicked Jazzy off stage but thought it might have been for a real problem not because he was playin hip hop. BBQ is always my first stop when I get there, damn its good. I hope they called your buddy sir and not senor(sr)Originally posted by KC2Vegas View PostWell the only problem with power light is it's outside and it's getting cold. There's a bunch of bars and lounges sort of, it's a good time. I know I sound like a broken record but best thing here is BBQ. Btw alot of people call power and light, power and white dj jazzy Jeff got kicked off stage for playing hip hop. It's that racist. I got a buddy that tired to wear some timberland boots there and they didn't let him in. They told him sr we can't let you in with work boots. But once your inside you see people with shorts and sandals WTF ?

I've only dealt with racism on a real basis one time when I was hanging out at the beach. It really didn't help that I was pretty drunk but there was this chics dad who started flippin out on one of my black friends using all the terms he could think of until we got it his face about it but then he called the cops and of course we got a racist cop too. I almost got arrested that night if it wasn't for my brother. That's been my one incident out here.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I would think that all other things being equal, Asians would have an advantage in getting in. As a group, they tend to be more affluent than the average, and at the end of the day, the only color Vegas really cares about is green.Originally posted by dnix View PostIts also funny that you mentioned this happened at Tryst, because a lot of peeps on the forum have said there are alot of asians at XS. Considering their sister companies, AND they share their host, it doesnt make sense.

Hey KC, I've been out in KC once at all the bars in Westport and had a pretty good time. Was there for a Chiefs game and didn't really know where else to go. I'm comin back out in Nov for work and have heard about a Power and Light District, anything good there?
