Anyway, I took German for five years in high school and Japanese for three years in college. I'm much better at reading them than I am at speaking or writing. I'm not sure I could order a cup of coffee in either language, but I could do a pretty decent job of translating a newspaper article if I had a good dictionary and enough time.

Alright, so for the many delays... it's amzing how much your life falls apart after being away for a week. It shouldn't, I know, but too much going on.

Anyways!

Some of this is going to be a repeat. And sorry, but I don't have the patience to write out a play-by-play.. sorry for anyone expecting that, but I'm doing this at work, so I got to keep it short.


Day 1: Landed, checked-in, slept.

Day 2: Rehab. Friends were a little bit shocked by the amount of insanity at a pool party. I guess since were Vegas virgins, that was to be expected. Met up with some other Torontonians there. There were a lot of slutty guys there. That's right, I said slutty.

Day 3: Went hotel/casino hopping. This was neccessary, again, for the virgins. My feet were killing me.. needed better sandles. So What better reason to shop than a real practical need? Macy's was nice at the fasion show mall. More strip walking in the evening. Oh yes, we watched all the free shows. Haven't done that since first time I was there. Actually, the Mirage volcano, I think I saw for the first time. LOL!

Day 4: Pool during the day. Sin City commedy @ V Theatre. So bad. Stay away from this disaster. The old man that came out at the end was too raunchy. Mentally scarred me. Big time gambling at night (my Asian friend in the pic is a big time poker player)

Day 5: Atomic Museum. Gun Range. Red Rock Canynon. (lazy mode kicking in, and I'm assuming you don't care about this stuff anyway).

Day 6: Green Valley, Lake Las Vegas. Phantom of Opera. More gambling.

Day 7: Shopping at Premium Outlets. Mystere. Ghostbar. More gambling.

Day 8: Cried all the way home.



I told you, it wasn't going to be anything uber exciting. Vegas does make a difference on who you go with. I went with a couple of close, but very docile friends. But I'll be back.... I'll be back.

green valley was very nice... actually the casino was quite charming. Very clean and modern slot machines. Better than any on the strip, I think.

Cool pics and TR tango. I think a trip like that is probably good for everyone. My first trip was somewhat like that, not really any clubs, shopping (for the girls) and mostly just gambling.

I still managed to get extremely drunk the entire time, but it's one of my secret talents. I still haven't seen a lot of the sights in Vegas (or maybe I have but don't remember). You'll just have an excuse to lose all inhibition next time to catch up.
