How to party and drink in Vegas without going bankrupt?

The things i did to save money on my recent trip:

1) from the airport straight to Lee's liquor store. Buy all the booze you can possibly drink for the time you are there. When you get to you hotel fill the bathtub with ice and put the booze in. (don't forget the vitamin water)

2) Pre-Drink! Don't leave the hotel until you are hammered.

3) Cheese Cake factory in the Forum Shops at Caesar's. Delicious reasonably priced food.

4) eat only twice a day, One meal being fast food. Optional hot dog and beer for $2.50 @ Oshea's when you wonder back home in the morning.

5) I will reiterate other peoples points. Don't Gamble!

Thx again for all the advice! One question though. Won't we have problems getting into clubs when we're already drunk. Security in Germany is really picky about this. They'll give you shit because you had a couple of drinks before going out and they want you to start drinking inside THEIR club. I read a few trip reports and it seems that people get hammered and still don't have a problem getting inside. So is the attire more important than being sober?

Obviously it's never good to go to a club when you can't talk or walk anymore

Just make sure you're not stumbling or acting like a wildman already. Keep your composure for the few min you're dealing with the doormen. I know it's tough, but I have faith in ya!

Dude if this was true I would never be let in anywhere and would never go. Vegas is one big drunken mess pretty much 24 hours a day. If you can't stand up then you're probably not getting in, but if you can fake it till you make it (inside the club) you'll be fine.

Attire (and how you carry yourself) is definitely more important than being sober. Image is everything. If your image says sharp looking, money having, not stumbling all over or puking on anyone type of guy you're in (even if it's not true). If it says the opposite.. well stick with the casino bar.

From my experience it really depends on the doorman and your behavior if they'll let you in when you're drunk. If you can walk and talk in an appropriate way I think you won't have any problems getting into german clubs. At least I never had.

Luckily for me I've learned how to party without going bankrupt in Diego! We have a spot downtown where we get $1 tequila shooters and $2 draft beers all night! Awesome for pregaming!!! If you ever come down to Diego hit me up and we'll party with out going bankrupt! Lol
