Friday PM recap

After a quick nap following ditch, I get the text from my cousin saying they have just landed so I make my way to the airport. When I picked her and her two friends up, that was the first time I had even seen her friends. After seeing them for the first time, I felt good about this weekend.

This was their first time in Vegas so I took them for a ride down the strip, blah blah blah- they loved it. I get them into their room and and we all head downstairs to get a quick bit to eat. After dinner we dismiss and agree to meet up for the nights activites in about an hour. Now this leads me to another...

Lesson Learned #3- it is a good idea to party with someone for the first time BEFORE you get to Las Vegas.

First night in Vegas, and my lovely ladies decide they want to call it an early night. WTF? Are you kidding me?

Nonetheless, I had already paid for the wrist band so I'm headed out to the Palms. I hadn't heard from the JC crew yet but figured I'd go ahead and go to pick up the wristband and check it out some. After picking up the wristband, I decided to check out Rain since I was right there at it- nice club. The dancers on pedestals were a nice touch.

Not long after getting there, I hear from Cisco and Nas to meet up at Ghostbar. So I head toward there and notice yet another line- but the wristband allows me to avoid that yet again and up the elevator I go. I meet up with the fellas at the bar and check out the view outside- amazing. We roll back inside to the bar and have a few drinks- Nas starts rapping with a bridal party- we talk- one smiles at me and just as I was gonna make my move.....Nas says lets roll fellas. I trust Nas but when he turns around and says - those were some horny ladies- I question his strategy.

If memory serves me correct, we then went to Rain. The line had grown long by this time but yet again the wristbands allow us easy entry. Nas throws out a, "We don't do lines" quote and in we go. We had a few drinks at the outside bar before checking out the scene inside. We may have spent all of 10 mins inside before deciding to bounce again. It was at this point we lost Dnix somehow and then while I was looking him I lost the rest of the crew. But we were going to the Moon so I figured I'd find them eventually. I end up finding Nas and KC the entrance and they had not seen Dnix either but we go head and ride up.

Moon was cool but I don't remember it standing out too much in my mind. What I do remember is going to one of the side bars and seeing this chick- who was extremely drunk dancing alone. Now while that is not particularly exciting, the fact that her dress was pulled up over her ass was. I have no idea if she did this or someone did but she was shaking that bare ass for everyone to see. Sorry, no pics.

I finally see Dnix in the corner somewhere and told him our spot, but he was busy texting or something so I don't think he heard me. Anyhow we head over to the Playboy Club and quickly start doing shots. Dnix suddenly appears and all seems right now. Nas buys a round of absinthe and this was my first time with this drink. A shot later and I don't feel so good. A short time later, I'm feeling odd so I decide its time to bounce.

As I get on the elevator going back down, this guy gets on and tells us that he just lost 250k at the tables in the Playboy Club.

Saturday recap

Saturday morning start I'm feeling decent despite Friday night drinks so I text my troops and tell them to get ready as Dnix has invited us out to Wet with him and Nas. As it usually goes, the ladies are running late and Dnix is telling me to get my ass to the MGM. This leads me to a lesson that I knew that I didn't follow.

Lesson Learned #4- never ever ever waste money on renting a car for a trip to party in Vegas. More on this later.

I had no clue where the pools were at the MGM but on a side street did see a sign about Wet so figured I was close enough so we park the car and head toward where I thought it would be. At this point Dnix is saying they are at the line waiting on us, hell I thought I was right around the corner but for the life of me couldn't find the pool. We cut down an ally and one of the girls has to pee- so she pees beside an AC unit. At this point I'm thinking Dnix is going to leave us and I wouldn't have blamed him. Finally some workers told us to cut through the convention center and we would see it. So we get to the main pool, I tell the fellas I've made it. But wait, yet another girl has to pee. We convince her to hold it because our window to getting in is closing quick.

Finally I see the Wet line and its quite long- I spot Dnix- he waves us up. So we bypass that line and head toward another line where Nas is waiting. We all get through the lines with no problems and this brings me to another lesson.

Lesson Learned #5- Dnix knows his way around Vegas.

Here is a guy I just met the night before but was nice enough to get me and my girls through the line with his connection. To show my appreciation I give his bartender friend a nice tip.

Wet turned out to be a fun time. We met some cool folks including a girl who claimed to work for Playboy- I'll show you a photo later so you can decide for yourself.
