Oh I have been a long time NHL fanatic. I quit the online play for 08 because of the exploits you do with the angle long shots... but I might get back into 2010 because I heard they fixed it.

Also, theres supposed to be some pretty cool new features in NHL 10.
Kick the puck out of the corner during a scrum to a player, pass to an open spot on the ice then skate onto it with another player, pressure defensemen and they make a bad play... Looks pretty awesome.

Totally agree with you about NHL. The game is totally different online and unrealistic. I almost never play, besides the odd shootout. Madden 08 is usually really good online. However, I have played guys guy have figured out some glitches. I.E. the jumping catch, i played a guy and he actually just threw the ball to randy moss deep every single play, I could not stop it!
Cover 4 double team moss, drill him in the air CATCH! maybe they fixed some of that in 09 though.

That doesn't happen at all in 09! Wow.. I mean I have played some good players where they mastered controlling the WR and having them go for the manual catches and intercepts..but thats never a sure deal. The only thing I can think of is in 09 that there is no play in the game that can stop a goal 1 yr to touch down QB sneak. Its almost guaranteed success 100% of the time.

Yea i tried it out a bit. The Demo is available online and thats what I have been playing here and there. You can play as the Wings vs the Pens for a period and try to come back on the 2-1 lead.
