Wealth does have a way of attracting women now doesn't it? I suppose it might be fun a time or two, but I think it would get old real quickly not knowing who was hanging with you for your $$ and who was there because of you.Originally posted by royale View PostMen in their 40's and 50's do get a lot of chicks in Vegas. Exactly Royale. No one here should act like young women hanging out with old dudes in Vegas is out of the ordinary.
I hate to play devil's advocate (no I don't) but did anyone care to think that maybe her boss just appreciates the work she does, and wanted to buy her a drink since they were going at the same time? Professional people can have a drink outside of work. I've done it before, with a female boss, in a public setting and it was just that, a drink.
I wouldn't automatically assume the guy wants to get into your pants. Your topic is definitely an easy way out though. Invite him to a daytime pool party (such as Ditch). If he wants, he can buy you a drink there. If he's too creepy, well you had to go to the bathroom and got lost. If he's cool, you can hang out, and probably get slammed on the bosses tab. Then, when the pool party is closing (which it does, unlike the night which NEVER ENDS) you have to go back to your room and you already have plans to meet up with some friends. Thank him for the drinks and be on your way. If he gets out of line, grab him by the balls and twist as hard as possible while simultaneously punching him in the throat with everything you've got. I'm guessing that will get the point across.
Problem solved.

goes both ways.. you don't know if he's into for just T&A, or your charming and sparking personality.Originally posted by H2oski2live View PostWealth does have a way of attracting women now doesn't it? hahaha im not afraid he'll do anything... heck, we are in HR, so there better not be anything!! we have travelled together before for work. except it was for work, and i was on my best behaviour. and any time we went to do any after-work dinner/drinks, it was a group of us from work going, not just the two of us.
at work, i don't joke around much.. i try to keep conversations just about work, unless we are on breaks/lunch. i dress, talk and treat others in a professional way during work hours. but i just rather not be like that when i am on vacation, that's all. especially in vegas
plus i know my manager is very naggy.. it won't be for just one drink. he'll want to see me everyday if he could. and that just ain't gonna happen lol
