Dinner for bachelorette party. Pre-fixe/tasting menu or not?

Never doubted him for a second! I'm still trying to wrap my brain around how freaking great this site is!! I have a scary feeling it's going to break my wallet, though. Vegas once or twice a year used to be good enough... Now I'm re-thinking that completely.

Maybe some of us LA/OC people can carpool! Looks like that might end up being the most costly part of the trips. When is that big JC trip in May? I've seen people mentioning it, but haven't seen any dates yet. Maybe I'll have to pencil that in...

Hi,

Thoughts on pre-fixe/tasting menus for a group of 8-10 girls? I've read they're kind of a rip off, but I'm thinking it might be easier to deal with when paying the tab.

Any suggestions for something around $50/pp?

Welcome to my world, and British Virgin, and everyone else that doesn't live close like you guys do! My airfare is always the biggest cost of our trip.

I didn't have luck with the pre-fixe menus down there, maybe I just didn't do it right or something, but when I asked they were too busy? I dunno
