Dinner at TAO then into the Club???

2 guys got sent back to change for sneakers and 2 got grief for having on sweater(but we convinced them to let them in) you all have to get an entree they say but we def had guys sick at the table who did not get entree's.

Its very common that people get called out on their outfits at Tao. They are way more strict compared to Tryst/XS..

I am trying this out LDW, but they did say that we would have to pay cover in addition to one entree. Just don't get trapped buying drinks at the restaurant!

This is a good question, getting in is one thing but cover is another. Unless you're a chick, I doubt your cover would be comped. Could be wrong but it's unlikely.

cover was comp'd for all 11 guys. believe it or not. i mean maybe for LDW they will try some shady ish, but last Saturday we all got in free, cashrules is my older bro so you can PM him if you need confirmation but between me and u that guy was face down at dinner drunk so he probably doesnt remember much, i wish i could post pics but he might disown me. ha ha!

i dont know that always works, but i think it depends on how busy they are going to be?

ive had dinner @ tao, and walked up, but our dinner tab was extraordinary...

we've also had some issues when the group gets beyond 10 people even when it was a mixed group .. those door peoples are very hit or miss unless you know someone.

That's Tao's menu. The rule is one entree or two appetizers per person. It seems if you order intelligently, you can get dinner for about $35 - one entree, maybe a soda, then that's it. Assuming this works, and even if cover isn't comped, guaranteed admission is still worth that much.
C) Why the hell is a chicken dish "from the sky"? Come on, chickens can't fly!

what's up areacode201. i have done it recently and yes it works on saturdays. it works any day the nightclub is open and no matter what the special event is in the club. even on holidays like MDW and LDW it works. just make sure you dress appropriately cause they won't give you the line pass stamp after dinner unless you are dressed for the club. you will have to go back to the room, change and then come back and show your dinner receipt. there is virtually no wait (you don't even have to wait in the guestlist line) and admission is free.

make it still worth it and go to TAO Beach a day or two on your trip! and check out LAVO for free if you want, especially if you're there on a Sunday night.
