Diabolical! Can't make it LDW, though - going up to NYC to a friend's b-day bash... but I may now book my next trip irregardless...

Yea he was kind of a douche about pictures though. He made his body guards find people pointing at him with cameras and tell him to stop. Its Wet Rep for goodness sake..everyones gonna be taking pictures when they are there.

I'm flying to MIA tomorrow where we will most of the time chill in a house in cape coral. The end of this trip will b pretty relaxing. That's when I'll finish my TR:

Day 4

Sunday Aug. 16th

First of all sorry for the delay of my last TR. But as soon as I was in NYC there was so much to see and do that I couldn't find time for writing. On saturday I received a message on facebook from Nassau that he wasn't able to fly to Miami and was coming to NYC instead so we met up and had a JC Meet & Greet in NYC.
But now lets start with my TR for sunday.

Wow, Saturday was the night of the nights. So much crazyness. Will I be able to recover in time from this night?? I was sure I wouldn't be able to and was saying to myself: "This was it. Your Vegas Trip has ended!" I woke up around 2PM totally wasted and my head was spinning. That was when I remembered that we still had 25$ comped on roomservice (that was included in our rate). So I ordered a nice burger and waited for it lying in bed and watching TV. I was still so tired that I woke up when the bell was ringing and my burger arrived. Let me tell you, this was the first real Meal I had in Vegas (I don't count McDonalds and Fast Food Pizza as a real meal) and I really enjoyed it and it gave me back some energy for the rest of the day.

After I finished the Burger I decided to once again recover at drift spa. (for more details on drift spa see the previous TRs).

As soon as I left drift and went up to my room I remembered that we already bought the "unforgettable night" pack from bellagio and that we had a table at Yellowtail at 5. So I talked to Dustin and we decided to go to Yellowtail, than see "O" and after that decide whether we'll keep on partying at the bank or just sleep until monday. After all we had to get up at 7AM on monday to catch our flight to Washington DC.

We arrived at Yellowtail at around 5:30 PM and were the only guests at that time. We gave the server the vouchers and picked our appetizer, second appetizer, entree and dessert. (on each course you could choose between two alternatives). The moment we finished the first appetizer the fountains started and we went to the balcony to watch the show which gave me some extra energy. (Although at this moment my energy level was still very low and I felt every minute of partying my body went thorugh the last few days). When we were finished and there were no leftovers (The dessert, some sort of chocolate cake with warm liquid chocolate inside, banana foam and green tea ice was mind blowing) we headed over to the "O"-Theater.

I had heard so much positive things about "O" that I was really excited and looking forward to the Show. And what can I say. It was so crazy and mind blowing. The best show I've ever seen (maybe tied on the first rank with Siegfried & Roy).I was still standing a bit next to me because of all the partying the days before but that made the whole experience even more surreal. So I can recommend this show to everone. If you want to see a show in Vegas go to "O". Definately worth the money.

I'm not sure if I was hyped up after "O" or if it even took some energy out of my body because watching the show was pretty intense. We decided to first head to our hotel room and pack our suitcases because I knew once I started to celebrate and go crazy I wouldn't be able to pack my stuff or would leave half of everything in the room. So that's what we did.

Even though we were pretty much dead we decided to at least grab the complimentary cocktails at Caramel (also included in the "unforgettable night" package). So once again into the cab and off to Bellagio. We arrived at Caramel (around 10:15 PM) and Once we entered, people were already dancing and having a good time. Caramel is what I would call a lounge. People there are older than in the clubs but also having fun and some were actually going crazy. First stop: The bar. Since the Vouchers said "enjoy a complimentary cocktail" I ordered two white russians. I of course wanted to pay them with the vouchers but the barkeeper explained to me that the vouchers were only for drinks like Vodka Tonic and not for actual cocktails. He saw the confusion on our face and quickly handed me a two for one voucher. So we only paid one white russian and used the vouchers for two Vodka Cranberries. The moment he gave us the two vodka crans, he took the vouchers, and a second later handed them back to me. So we finished the drinks and ordered two new ones. At this point Dustin told me that he's not feeling well and that he's not going to finish his drink. I was unsure of what to do. The reasonable thing would be to go to the hotel room and grab some sleep.

So I told Dustin let's just walk over to the bank and if we like it we stay, otherwise we go back to the hotel room. I finished my drink and wasn't able to leave his vodka-cran behind. It seemed like it was talking to me: "Patrick, this is your last night in Vegas, drink me and I promise you this will be a night you won't forget. And what would all the people on JC.com say if they knew you would let me stand here, all alone....".

So the glass won. I drank it, left a nice tip for the barkeeper and we headed over to the bank.

Have I already told you that I think the lines are insane in Vegas. Once again I was seeing this big big line. I went to the guy with the clipboard and asked where I would get in with the "VIP complimentary Vouchers" from the unforgettable night pack. He said I would just have to wait in line and that the vouchers are only free admission. (Damm that was also what the woman told me that sold me the pack). It was now around 11 PM maybe a bit later and Dustin told me that he was going back to the hotel room. Once again the reasonable thing would've been to go with him. But I'm in Vegas and the talking glass from caramel was now taking over and so I just said:"Ok, I'll stay here and check out the venue. If it sucks I'll be back in about an hour. If it's great I'll be back late in the night".

So there I was standing in line to get into the bank..... But wait, wasn't there someone saying "I don't do lines????". Yes there was. I was once again saying stuff to myself: "I got into TAO on Thursday without waiting, the Palms Clubs on Friday and even XS on saturday. So I will not start standing in line on a sunday at the bank".

I walked to the guy with the clipboard handed him 30$ and asked if he could take care of me and that I'm on my own. He took the bills and asked how much we are talking about. I said 30$ and I don't want to wait another minute. He answered that it would be another 20 once he brings me inside to which I responded: "I know the amounts to grease from the JC.com so if he doesn't want my money I'll just talk to one of his colleagues. The next thing I notice is the rope opens and I'm send to the escalator and into "the bank". WOW once again thank you JC.com otherwise I might have paid 50 to get in.

I handed the two vouchers to someone standing in line so that at least if he had to wait for hours his entry fee would be comped.

Once inside I walked to the bar, bought a Vodka Redbull and started walking around. Once I took the first steps down, I see Elle and I'm going crazy that I met her. Because I thought I wouldn't know anyone inside the club. She insisted on buying me drinks because I bought most of the drinks on Thursday at TAO. So I got drunk and we danced and partied like Rockstars. From this point once again on this trip everything gets a bit blurry. I remember going crazy and jumping around when some of my fav. songs where played. And the next thing I rememer is Dustin who spills water onto my face because we have to leave in 10 minutes. I somehow passed out on the couch and he wasn't able to wake me up. I jumped under the shower took everything (besided my ipod which I forgot was still in the iHome) and we left to the airport. The second we entered the airplane I fell asleep and I got up when we touched down in Washington DC. The first thing that comes into my mind is: "Did this really happen??" The next thing is checking my camera. I see all the pics and videos from Vegas so it seems that I wasn't dreaming but instead was having the time of my life.

Now that I'm finished I have to thank a few people (in no special order):

First of all Dustin: for making this whole trip with me and especially Vegas. Thanks for waking me up on monday or I would have missed my flight.

Elle: It was a pleasure to meet you and your friend K. It was crazy with you two.

Warren: It was great to meet you and I'm still jealous for your flask.

Ankit: Wow dude, you're the man. know how to party and the entrance to XS. Crazy. The same goes to everyone from your crew. Ranjit and all the guys, it was an honour to party with you.

Darryl: Thanks for everything. The way you walked us into TAO was crazy. This was actually my first Vegas Party experience and you made sure that I had a blast.

And last but not least:
Everone from this forum that helped me experience this. Without you this trip would've only been half as good or maybe less than half as good.

I hope I could transfer some of the feelings and moments I enjoyed while I was in Vegas to everyone who has a Vegas Trip coming to get them pumped up and for everyone that has a long time until he or she will be back to Vegas to shorten the waiting time.
