Wow, really. It's been a few years since I was there during NFL season. Good to know, though as it'll save me the trek over there this fall if that's the case. Too bad because I really liked Mandalay's set-up.

LDW is also the kick-off of college football.

Caesar's on Saturday sounds awesome for that. Bet on five or six games, watch them all at once...

Hrm... I may want to check out at the Palazzo [used to be the 40/40 Club] for football/lunch for College Football Saturdays:

        Opening in September

Kick-off the football season at Lagasse's Stadium, the ultimate sports bar and sportsbook in Las Vegas. Lagasse’s Stadium combines Emeril Lagasse's signature cuisine with over 70 Hi-Def TVs, luxury boxes, plush stadium-style seating, and an outdoor patio just steps from the Strip. Excitement abounds with sports betting stations, black jack and craps tables, video poker machines, billiard tables and video arcade games. Now, you'll never have to choose between great food and the big game.

Join us for Lagasse's Tailgate, the ultimate happy hour, featuring $3 beer, $15 bucket of six beers, and $5 appetizers, Monday to Friday from 3pm-7pm.*

Call 702.607.2665 to reserve a semi-private Sky Box to be elevated amidst fans, or a private Luxury Box tricked out with billiard tables and video games.

*Domestic beer only. Available until 30 minutes before a professional football game. Introductory promo valid until September 30, 2009. Cannot be combined with other offers. Must be 21 or older. Management reserves all rights.

          That sounds really good, actually.

Plus Palazzo is right next to Venetian.

            I'm there! NICE!
That being said, if you're asking if it can be done, you're probably not at the level where you could pull it off.

You want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

Las Vegas was good. Hell of a ship, hell of a crew.

Hows Hawaiian Tropic for MNF? Or the planet hollywood sports book? We got one of those $50 gift certs for HT so it looks like we will be hitting it up for dinner. The group from work is thinking of grabbing tickets for peepshow which is at PH so hanging around there is likley. But good viewing is important!

Doubtful since I commented on it just a couple posts ago in this thread and no one commented on it... And it's only been open a week, it seems. Steep entry price, though you do get quality food (on paper)

I've read that during game times, you have to have a minimum food/beverage purchase of $50 per person. I guess in retrospect, that's not that bad if you're having drinks and snacks... but it's free (sans snacks/drinks) over in Caesar's Palace sportsbook to sit.

There's already one review on yelp that was sort of positive.

Maybe Vikings fans? Or Northwestern fans? Certainly a niche market trying to cover! (They should make it blue & white... Or green & silver)
