Maybe in your area? In most metropolitan cities women and men tend to wait to get married and have kids, they are busy with career and graduate school. I have older friends and they are all professional women who do not have children. I guess its a social circle thing.Originally posted by royale View PostOh no.. if someone is 35 and attractive that def. doesn't make her a cougar! Yes you are right about the pursuit of the younger man. I m just saying if I was to date a 25+ yr old out here, its 90% likely they have kids. Just prefer them to not have kids so its more compatible with my lifestyle.
I agree that dating someone with kids is not ideal though!
It just makes me uncomfortable to label women just because of their age. Although to be honest once I was accosted by a cougar (she HAD to be in her 40s) at Tryst in the bathroom who reached out and grabbed my stomach, then turned to her friend and said "She never had any kids" It was totally weird and to be honest... creepy.

For cougars, do a little algebra to turn the equation into (your age - 7) x 2. So according to the math, I can go as high as 40.

Guest repliedTo date younger girls I hope. I m guessing for cougars its half of your age, plus 7?Originally posted by BarrelO View PostI've always heard that the formula is half your age plus seven.

My opinion on cougars is that they are women who are pursuing much younger men. So, I would say min age 35, pursuing a guy in his twenties...a woman is not a cougar, IMO, just because she's over 35 and attractive.

I'm 27, and I mostly go for girls around my age. Certainly not younger than 22.
