I worked at Blush on memorial day weekend and @ 9pm, the line was all the way to the wynn box office for XS.

They learned a lot about their club that weekend and now have taken steps to not over book (which has lead to them being "sold out" going into weekends).

Personally, i would avoid XS on a holiday weekend or go very late and expect to pay cover. The good thing about XS is that if its sold out, you always have its sister club, tryst steps away.

Darryll, what time should we be lining up for general admin on a holiday weekend Saturday? Line was wrapped around the building at 9:30 on Memorial day. Also is the guestlist still shut down permanently for Friday/Saturday?

XS on Friday or Saturday is the definition of insanity. If your doing bottles, contact your host weeks in advance, expect to have an extra bottle or 2 added to your party (compared to other venues bottle mins). Have your host send you a CC Auth directly from the XS office, and return it asap. If your doing general admission, get there around 930, expect to wait and expect to pay.

    A few things to remember:
Sundays are outside only pool style parties, the dress code is pool attire.

Mondays are the industry night, which means your partying with LV industry. It also means you could book a table the day of (holiday and major fight weekend excluded).

There is a guest list for Sundays and Mondays.

XS, Tryst and Drais are the same company, so if you have a host you like at Tryst or Drais, you could always contact them for advice.

that is correct if the auto grat is included you dont have to tip her BUT even if it is I would throw them a little bit more only because I believe in tipping 20% and I hate to see the club cheating the waitress so ill add in a little more

If the service is decent, I usually take the listed tax total (7.5% of the bill), double it, and then add a little more to it. If you are a part of a large group, your gratuity might already be included (sometimes 18% of your bill is automatically added. This is called "Auto-Grat" in the industry).

Per JC's site on the entire tipping situation:

    Your VIP Host.
There are many different types of "VIP Hosts" in Las Vegas. Some get you limousines and hard-to-get tickets at no charge, some will walk get you into a nightclub, and some will simply sit you down at your booth and introduce you to your cocktail waitress. How much you tip your VIP Host depends entirely on the type of host and how much service they have given you, but you should plan for $75 on the low end and a $1,000 or more on the high end.

For nightclub hosts who have assisted in your reservation, you should hand them their tip immediately after they introduce you to your cocktail waitress after you’ve been sat.

depends on the place and the host, but they are usually pretty cool with seating most of the party and letting the others in later on....its happened to me where they didnt have a problem doing this....unless you show up all by yourself, but if most of the party is there theyll seat you and just tell the host youll find him when the others arrive....I always suggest taking care of your host a little extra for doing this as well

I went this past Saturday... and it was probably the only place that didn't reject me for wearing a t-shirt! My cousin and I arrived fairly early and walked in without problems.... they were literally shoveling as many people into the club as possible!

Yes you are right, it is really in the area where I live of Orange County ( bordering LA county which might have something to do with it!). It could be like an income or a social demographic thing that chicks just pop them kids out when they are 16 and definitely before they are 24.

Wow in most cases I would say thats pretty hot, but if it was a Cougar then I would see it more as a predator vs prey type of thing. I will warn the gf when she needs to go at Tryst.
