Haha, yeah I was just looking for some Infos for the Vegas trip. But as the trip came closer I decided to actually write something too. And I don't regret it. So much fun here.

As for ditch, the chairs seemed free, but there where some that had reserved on them. Irock figured out $20 will get those for you. Thanks again for that hook-up irock.

I wonder if the chairs can be reserved in advance? I would totally prefer to get a few $20 chairs and hang out then spend the $500 with $1000 min purchace a cabana would cost!

the pool at palms place is very low key couples type pool, and I dont think the cabana includes any alcohol so Id prob do 1 st package cause for $60 you could buy the wristband for fri or sat AND they work better than the vip passes theyre offering

Not to threadjack but I just found this forum last week and registered yesterday, but myself and 3 buddies will be in Vegas the 13th - 16th. Get there around 2-3pm Pacific time on the 13th.

Got a good deal through allegiant airlines, direct flight from Wichita, KS and 3 nights at the Rio with 2 rooms for $384 a person when all the fees/bag check fees, taxes, 911 fee, wipe my ass fee lol etc were added. Figured it wasnt a bad deal.

Am definitely gonna do the bracelet deal for the Palms on Friday - however if we are at the Rio should we just stay at that pool? Looks pretty nice from the website.

Also Im more of a gambler than the other 3 and will probably be playing poker the instant I get to the hotel on Thursday...any other poker rooms I should hit up?

We are all 26-29

If you do the wristbands Friday at the Palms, just go to Ditch since it's included - you'll have a much better time than at the Rio pool.

As for poker rooms, depends on what you're looking for - the best overall is the Bellagio since it has a great spread of games & levels plus you might run into a couple of pros, if that's your thing. Mirage offers a good deal of lower limit games if you're looking for more affordable stakes. Excalibur if you're looking for really low limits. Can't go wrong with Ceasar's, Venetian, MGM, or Rio, also.

Poker rooms - 1) MGM 2) Belagio 3) Wynn. I stick with $2/$5NL as there is a lot of action at these 3 places. You will inevitably see some guy at each table 2/5 with a $1,500 - $2,000 stack...unless a brand new game just starts up.

And thanks guys for the quick responses. I never had thought about playing at the Bellagio, as I always associate it with high roller and Im not there yet, but I will probably give the poker room a try one of the days.
