hey guys, thanks for all the great responses about the wristbands, I heard somewhere that it pays to mingle in the line while you're waiting outside, that sounds crazy to me I would rather get in right away but what do you guys think?

You can play "hero" for a lucky lady in line if you have an extra line pass.
Allow me to ask for feedback on a related but somewhat nuanced subject. Let's take next Thursday July 23rd when some friends and I will have a table at Tao. Let's assume that there is a 20% chance that something will go wrong and my crew will want to leave Tao early (we hate our table location, no girls there, etc....take your pick). What then? Enter the back up club! On this night, I'd like that club to be Jet (we are staying at the Mirage). Now, here is where my question comes in: If I want to avoid lines to get into Jet, must each person in my group pay $56.50 to some place like wantickets.com in order to get "front of line" passes? Kind of a lot to pay for the option to hit a back-up club (Then again, I've only got three nights in Vegas, so every hour needs to count!). Another way to ask the same question: At what point on a Thurs-Sat night does the line at a major club (in this case Jet on Thursday) die down enough so that a group of 5-7 guys can get into a major club in under 10 minutes? Subquestion: if the same guys came with an equal number of girls, would it make a difference in terms of speed of getting in?

Well here's the deal with the $60 wristband... The one that we are all talking about that is JC member tested and approved is strictly for the Palms clubs; Rain, Moon, Playboy Club and Ghostbar. Now the way it works is you pick up the wristbands by the time you are told to and from there you pretty much skip all of the lines at any of the mentioned Palms clubs. If you dont like the vibe at one, you leave and hit another one so unless you don't like any of the 4 clubs they have you wont really need a back up plan for the night you decided to use the wristband.Originally posted by extragolden View PostYou can play "hero" for a lucky lady in line if you have an extra line pass.

Now they also offer the wristband that includes getting into Ditch Fridays which puts you on a special guest list and allows you to just walk in without any cover. Make sense?................

Also to add to that, if you hit Tao and whatever happens you dont like and wanna bail to Jet, since your staying at the Mirage I believe your room key waives cover for 2 people. Now as far as what point do the lines die out, I believe around 2 am but I am not sure since I dont really bounce around too many clubs.................

I can't imagine wanting to bail out on Table Service at TAO. Perhaps the $20.00 sandwich can help upgrade to a table with a view?

Hey Royale, how long did you wait in the Wantickets guest line? If we went around 11a on Saturday, would that be a short line?Originally posted by royale View PostNo.. For wet republic you don't exactly skip the entire line. You can line up in the guestlist line which is a lot shorter then the regular line. Also when you go into pay, you can skip the regular line as well because they will hand you a ticket to get your wristbands. $20 is still cheaper then regular cover...
Thanks!

they are only for fri and sat nights and yes they are for sale online in fact it is recommended by JC.com that you purchase them ahead of time because they usually sell out a couple of days before the day.....what day are you looking for ill send you a direct link to that dayOriginally posted by cashrules View PostTschwicht, do the bands go by different names and can they purchased online? Wantickets line is the same as the guestlist line. It might vary, but I went on a holiday weekend at 10:45 and I got in by 11:30'ish. WR opens at 11. So i recommend getting there before 10:30 by all means.Originally posted by slickguy View PostHey Royale, how long did you wait in the Wantickets guest line? Exactly. I can tell you all about buying them, but nothing about using them. I bought mine, went to Ditch, and got lost for an evening. Didn't actually procure the bracelet itself.Originally posted by nyc2vegas View Postthey are only for fri and sat nights and yes they are for sale online in fact it is recommended by JC.com that you purchase them ahead of time because they usually sell out a couple of days before the day.....what day are you looking for ill send you a direct link to that day

Do they really sell out?
I called the Stuff Store at the Palms directly and they said the following:
-We don't sell out
-We advise waiting to purchase until you are ready and dressed to go out for the night because yo have to wear the band when you buy it so if you get it early then you'll be wearing it all day at the pool, etc.
I was planning on heading over at around 7p to get them that Friday and then heading out for the night.
Do they sell out? Do you really have to put them on when you buy them?

You don't have to buy them before. We where there two weeks ago (July 17th). Called to see if we could buy later that night. Told us to be there before 10:30 pm. Showed up around 10 pm and purchased them then. Took less than 5 minutes in line to get into the clubs. The place was crowded and they worked like a charm.

How much is the Palms wristband at the Stuff store vs Wantickets?
I believe Wan does have a service charge for each transaction.

Cost online vs store
I had the same problem with online since I'd be buying 12.
It's $60 at the store but $60+ $8 service charge at wanttickets.com
So I called to make sure they'd be available when I came in day of - Aug 7 and they said they don't sell out, and gave tip about getting them when you are ready to go out.
Anyone who bought them there - did you have to put the bracelet/wristband on at time of purchase or could you leave without wearing it? I'd liketo go early Friday, uy all 12 and then hand out to my group later on?
