Oh, one thing I ended up needing during the trip - Chap Stick. Vegas weather is too damn dry - my lips felt like sandpaper after the 2nd day. Felt weird putting it on, but it was a necessary evil.

Cheers all, that is awesome. So as long as I don't forget to pack my socks, underwear, shoes, shirts, t-shirts, leather vest, credit cards, back up credit cards, emergency cash (4am vodka emergency ), ID x 5, hair wax, mouse, cream and gel, swimming shorts, shoes, hair straighteners, stilletoes, a sick soundsystem, toothbrush, contact lenses, passport, moisturiser, cowboy hat, chapstick, chapstick FMW...I should all be sorted, right?

I'm tempted to staple my passport somewhere about my person, as if I lost it I'd be forced to stay in Vegas and unable to return to wet, dark, soggy Britain..what a disaster that would be

Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2

Not the loudest, but portable and has rechargeable battery. Might be easier to transport.

There is also Logitech mm50 which is just a more powerful (and expensive) version of the Pure-Fi Anywhere.

It's all about the toiletries , you know the things that fit in the small pockets of your luggage. Q-tips, deoderant, cologne, vitamins, headache meds, eye drops, toothpaste, brush, protection.......

I agree. Toiletries especially hangover/dry air cures are essential. You are going to need them.

Mine plugged right into an outlet and I have a ghetto Creative Zen mp3 player (no display or anything - but my little guy is a tank, he's been in water, thrown out of a car..etc). I would like an upgrade though, and a speaker system to go along with is essential for vacation!

Hahaha, I was with one of my girlfriends in her car and I sneaked and replaced her mp3 player with mine so that my music would play (I like to listen to pop garbage.. Duran Duran is #1). She freaked out and ripped my mp3 player from the cords and went to throw it at me ("KEEP YOUR CRAPPY MUSIC") and instead it went out the open passenger side window, hahahaha. Good times. I'm now allowed to listen to my music in her car now though!
