EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Agreed. Going to Hak without a table and a big name dj playing, is asking to be packed in like a sardine and uncomfortable the whole night.

Are you doing tables for each or pre sale or combo? I would not recommend Hak with Tiesto on pre sale. Did it once and never since. I feel Hak is built for the bottle service crowd.
Yeah I'm the shit...I should have febreeze on me!

With regards to drink prices...I have done GA a lot and while I have not been to Hak, I have not had any trouble with drink lines at the other places you have mentioned. Drinks are typically 12-16 as Max said, one thing I usually do is find one bar to go back to consistently and identify one bartender to seek out. I typically tip that person very well on the first two drinks and the rest of the night that bartender will typically skip people to wait on me and will go incredibly hard on the alcohol for my drinks. i.e. tipping well is worth it at these clubs from my experience. So if I am with a group one of us typically gets all of the drinks (everyone chips in cash but one person always deals with the bartender to get the preferential treatment from the tips.

Great advice. I do the same thing. If I go GA, I get to the club early to avoid long lines, but also to get a drink or two before the bar gets crowded, and develop a rapor with the bartender. I tip them well on the first two rounds, and from that point on, they will either start making my drink as soon as they see me at the bar, or wait on me before another customer.

Tipping for good service in Vegas can open a lot of doors for you.
