Does rehab suck?

All the times I've been to Vegas, I've never been to Rehab but I STILL wanna go, even after dudes post. I like all music, from EDM to HipHop to Top-40, even country. I've had great times at Gilleys! Vegas is, and always will be, what people make of it. If you're anti-social, and can't make friends, it's gonna be a bad time. The whole color thing, well, two chick friends of mine (white & Mex) just came back and said Rehab was awesome, and they (in my opinion) would give an impression to be more of a Encore/Wynn types. They even kinda lacking in the booty dept. but they loved it! Rehab is still on my list of places to try. Worst case, I can go to any other of the hundreds of pools/bars/clubs/lounges this town offers!

Man I have extended family in town staying with me for the weekend. I shit you not, this just happened 5 mins ago during dinner. I have no idea why they never contacted me in the first place, but it doesnt matter. It was 4 very attractive young white girls staying at Venetian.

ME: So I know ya went to Vegas recently, how was the trip?
HER: Oh it was the best trip ever. We cant wait to go back. We went to a pool party, and a club. I see why you go to Vegas all the time.
ME: Nice, where do you go?
HER: A pool party at the Flamingo, and it was so good I think well stay there next time. And then a club called Vodoo.
ME: *food literally falls out my mouth* but then I responded with thats awesome. Glad you had such a good time.

The shameful part is I thought about this about threads like this, and how I would never let her subject herself to the forum, because she would get ripped to shreads.

Ya just never know what peoples taste are. If everyone was the same, the world would suck.

Life is what you make it. Personally I feel like if it's positivity going through-out the place i'm GOING to have an amazing time. Doesn't matter what music is playing or what race. A good time is a good time. I just came back from Costa Rica recently and there was a club there that had an amazing vibe but I was out of my element. Didn't know anyone except the guys I came with. Didn't even know the music or what they were saying. I looked around and all there was were females (ticas) and some guys. Probably about 5 females to 1 guy. ONE OF THE BEST NIGHTS EVER. But if I was closed-minded, peeked in....saw everyone...got uncomfortable and said "yo, let's get outta here" I would have never experienced Costa Rica. But instead I had people pulling me on the dance floor and showing me moves....Forrest Gump said it the best...."Life is like a box a chocolate, you never know what your going to get." or maybe I meant "Stupid is as stupid does".....

I have had this same thought with people who ask me for advice when going to Vegas. It's one of the reasons I went from a LONG time lurker, to a full fledged member. I noticed the transition (over the past year or so especially), from folks being helpful to somewhat basically ripping and deriding any spot that was old/not the latest and greatest, anyone who doesn't do bottle service every night, or spots where the so called talent wasn't up to par. I dont know when that transition occurred but I DO know that the boards used to be a place where even the so called "dumbest" question asked by a newbie or regular alike was met with helpful advice from all. For the most part that's definitely still the case, but I see DNIX's point about being hesitant to subject a friend to what sometimes can be just an avalanche of negativity when a thread is started. There's a way to voice an opinion while also giving advice, that also doesn't make the OP feel like they are a failure as a human being for asking. LOL. Just saying man. As has been mentioned by the subsequent responses Vegas is definitely what you make of it.

Yea, I have noticed a shift from when I planned my 2011 trip, to coming back for more ahead of the next one. Still enough good people on here though.
I know any internet forum will get it's share of trolls, but I don't get why you'd do it here. Wouldn't you want more people to take shots with in Vegas, as opposed to more people who think you're a dick?

If The majority of Rehab is black that's what it is, EBC and Rehab are good pool party's it's just a matter taste if you want dark Or white meat. This is just pathetic now. Nobody with any class goes to Vegas to fight someone or settle a score. People come to these forums for advice and information on how to plan a great trip. Go back to MySpace for that macho crap
