Paleo + P90 X for 3 months straight. Try your hardest at it then love life because you will never ask this question again!

I weighed in at 240 when I started that and 1.5 years later i am in the best shape of my life at 185 lbs and lifting more than I ever could have dreamed of.

All solo, all paleo (with plenty of cheat days lol) and lots of p90x and just running/lifting weights.

There are a million other benefits than just looking better shirtless. Energy and hardly ever getting sick again for sure.

I dont know your personal life situation but I can tell you it worked wonders for me.

dude, right here is your problem, you're negative. No bullshit all the guys I'm going with are people I met on here. They are the only people who want to do BS and spend the money. I would hit those people up and say that you are in .

+1 here. This is a specific forum... with all likeminded people. Hosts are on here too, who organise other people's stuff, and you will have to meet up with them if you're going to use them. They may also be able to add some people to a group too.. hosts know LOTS of people.... I wouldnt hesitate with them either.

To the OP. you should be encouraged by the fact that scrolling through these replies not ONE person has given you a negative response. For the MOST part that's the point of the forum. Everyone here shares a specific affinity for Vegas and it really is one of the few major cities on earth where you can roll solo and meet a friend for life if your willing to put yourself out there man. As far as the whole out of shape thing, as someone mentioned trust me you'll be more in the majority then you think. Also, take a chance on meeting some folks from the forum as suggested, think you'll be surprised at how good a time you might have.

Riding solo on MDW is a dream scenario. I did a solo trip last month and had a blast while meeting some people from another board while out there.

I am no Abercrombie and Fitch by any drunken dream imaginable, now add the age of 44 to it plus married and keep my ring on. It's all about personality and attitude. If you go out there looking to have fun, fun will find you. No one says you have to take the shirt off. I rarely do, now granted I am quite pasty and have to wear SPF whatever the highest is, but you get the idea.

No guts, no glory. Just say F-it and enjoy the solo trip.

I can actually say from experience that the belly makes no difference to the experience when you have the right attitude. I started to go to pool parties when I was pretty big with a belly and had a ton of fun, then I lost 50 pounds and still had just as much fun, now sadly I have gained most of it back but again still have a blast. Now I am not necessarily the biggest fan of rolling solo, so I do suggest to try to meet up with others here, trust me they are pretty awesome and they won't bite :-).

I was 320 last March and went to Vegas with some of the boys. Although we did not go to any pool parties I was Who the F cares.
In Oct. I switched to Paleo eating and started Cross-fit and though not HUGE, I am down to 250 and 4 pant sizes and I am coming back next week to Vegas. We have Cabanas at Marquee and Drais set up and I cannot wait to kick it. Bottom line, if you are comfortable with yourself, then who cares what you look like....Its all about the personality these days...I have seen guys that probably can pick up a SUV and have the personality of wet cement, and I have seen overweight guys and girls with raps so good, they can get a nun or priest to come back to their room with them....any one down in Vegas next week...Tuesday thru Sat, PM me and maybe our groups can hook up.......

I am chubby and hairy and hit 3 pools a few weeks back, no one cares about appearance it does not matter. My take was that there were clearly three groups of people at these pools and really none of these were gender or appearance specific.

1)There to be seen and be seen. These folks are going to suck no matter what you look like.
2) Those with a group that do not want to mingle. You are not getting in with these folks no matter how you look.
3) Those who want to get crazy. I hung out with a lot of attractive and unattractive people, it really is a non-issue. The people who want to have a good time at these things tend to take over the place any way so as long as you are not a stick in the mud you will be cool.

I would say that 80% of the people at the pool parties are out of shape. Get out there and have fun. Don't think about that crap

Im working on my Veags body now, I've got about 8 weeks to get in pool party shape, hopefully it will pay off and Ill get laid....btw, I'm bringing my wife too

I've all but given up getting in "Vegas" shape , at least for couples trips. It still seems to happen though, because my wife (and now I'm convinced ALL women) go on diets and gym rampages before Vegas! I am slowly getting ready for my baby cousins bachelor party a year from now, only because I'm the "older, wiser" cousin and am gonna show the kids how it's done! If I quit and end up with a beer gut, I'll rock that too!
