If you ask in the Venetian hotel, they'll explain where to go to get the handstamp. There is no charge to get the stamp/no need for a tip. This stamp is just to allow you up in the elevators and into the main pool area. You have to walk through the main pool area to get to Tao Beach. So if you are just going to stay at the main pool, you won't need any tip at all.

are you able to collect towels this way? I forget but dont you also pass the main pool's checkin and have to show your pass? I have thought about doing this as i like their main pool but dont want to waste time and not get in.

Thanks... But the point is to stay at the venetian pool and not go to Tao... at least that's my plan. Do they really check for keys at the towel stand?.. damn!
Also, I guess is better to try this when Tao is open.. The whole stamp deal wont fly at 8am when the reg pool opens (and Tao opens at 10am), right?
